Certain creatures have been changed to friendly, including rats, non-blighted cliff racers, and probably a few others I can't think of at the moment.

Yeah, its kind of funny how the morrowind modding community is actually more active than the oblivion one. Oblivion does have more little mods showing up on the nexus, but morrowind has all these large scale projects that are still have huge amounts of work put into them.

Yes! The tamriel rebuilt tree issue has been fixed! Time to make a new morrowind installation with the latest Tamriel rebuilt and morrowind rebirth... at least once I've finished building the modded oblivion installation I'm working on. I'm pretty sure I spend way more time installing mods for these games than actually playing them.

Also I'm very excited for dungeons in the next release (v5.0 or v4.4?). Morrowind's dungeons have always felt a bit lacking in detail, which I imagine you'll be fixing. Will you be just doing things like that, or will you also do large scale changes like adding sections and making the dungeons a bit longer and more complex? I always felt that particularly the dwemer ruins were way to small and boring.

Anyway, thank you for your work on this. It and tamriel rebuilt are my favorite mods of all time.

Wow, its nice to see this getting updated so much! I take it we will get a fix for the tamriel rebuilt tree mesh compatibility issue in v4.4?

One thing I found was that the objects do show up correctly in the distant land generated by mge xe, but they disappear once I get within the vanilla render distance. Also, I found another place in gnisis with errors: over the walkway above the gate leading in to gnisis there is a sort of "ceiling" that looks like the stone floor was reflected up to just over head height. It is only visible from below and it has a collision mesh.

Ok, I just found something weird with this while doing some completely unrelated testing. The tower is showing up just fine... but only in the distant lods created by mge xe. once I get within vanilla render distance of it the tower disappears only to reappear if I go farther away again. I didn't notice this previously because I had been using only rebirth without mge for testing.

Yeah, though I also tested it with just the plain morrowind rebirth esp as well. I'll try downloading the mod and the gog installer for morrowind again in case it somehow messed up while downloading but only broke that, though its a bit of a stretch.

Ok, I tested with rebirth version 3.9 and the problem did not occur. Also, I think I now have some idea of what the problem is (at least with the floating thins over the temple). In version 3.9 there is a tower added to the gnisis temple, and the floating things in sitkaj's screenshot appear to be the only part of the tower present in the latest version. Additionally, judging by v3.9 the platform by the silt strider is supposed to have tons of crates on it with little coverings to protect them from the rain. In the latest version there are barely more than vanilla and those that seem to have been added are floating a few feet off the ground. No idea whats causing it but I hope this info helps.

No problem, morrowind doesn't take very long to install, so its quite a fast testing process. But even on the steam version its still happening. I have an older version or rebirth (3.9) which I don't recall having the problem (though I might have just not run into it). I'll reinstall both versions of morrowind and test to see if the the problem was there back in rebirth 3.9 or if its a problem with something you added since then.

Ok, the problem is still happening even with the latest version (4.13) on both the steam and gog versions of the game. Brand new character, fresh installation, morrowind rebirth is the only mod installed. The only thing I can think of is maybe you were using a mod manager to install and it was different for me because I was doing it manually, though that seems unlikely. Have any ideas?

oops, I just realized I've been using rebirth version 4.12 and the latest is 4.13. I'll download that now and retest.

Are you using the steam or gog version of the game? I only tested on gog the first time, but I'll go install the steam version and see if it happens there too. (Not that there should be any difference)

I can confirm this. I made a brand new install of morrowind goty (gog version) and installed morrowind rebirth as the only mod. I made a new character, went through the intro sequence, and as soon as I was out console teleported to gnisis. There were floating things above the temple as shown in sitkaj's screenshot, as well as above the platform by the silt strider.
