What's your depth buffer setting under d3d9 tab? It will either apply depth effects to world, or gun, not both. If applied to world then you can see ambient occlusion through the gun since the view model isnt on the same depth buffer.

You should probably try to add opengl shaders similiar to what Cry of Fear did, but for Source engine. Nothing like parallax mapping or SSAO, but in one of your videos you show bokeh depth of field and you should definitely add that in, real time rather than something just for the sake of the video with after effects over hyping the quality when it wont (hopefully will) look like what was shown. You dont even need to do much else with shaders, just a dynamic bokeh dof shader, focus on that and dynamic lights and soft shadows, or maybe try baked shadows onto textures, especially since the whole game will be dark, it would look very nice it lit areas you can over haul the quality with stuff like that. It would be one of the first source games to do it, if you decide to, if not, its a bit offputting putting soft particles and other opengl shaders in the video when they wont be present in the game.

I have a problem, I install NARODNAYA SOLYANKA then install this mod, and compatability patch for NARODNAYA SOLYANKA for 1.0005 and I never get the near field depth of field, motion blur, DOF none of it. Why is that? Please respond ive been trying to get it to work but it never does and its a pain in the *** to keep extracting and copying etc etc. cause the mods are about 6gb to 10gb each.

They said in the launch trailer video that there will be a download on moddb.com just upload it to megaupload.com or some **** and if one of the devs needs more space, i have an account, its unlimited upload bandwidth, just release i already, its been delayed and its sad it isnt on the gtaq4 engine rather than elc, latest eflc patch destroyed the game and its potential for more open modding. I wanted this to be compatible with icenhancer with bokeh dof and everything else but it requires patch 1.0.4.0 butno. ****

Please, if there is anyway you can, please put this game on GTA4 engine, I wanted to mix this with iCEnhancer on the 1.0.4.0 version of the game, it would be absolutely amazing.

On this link it sas there is an adaptation patch for autumn aurora Forums.steampowered.com for 1.0005 users to run this mod with narodnaya solyanka mod, but i cant ever get the two to work together even thought there are people that can. and when i do autumn aurora mod by itself motion blur and dof dont work even though i made sure i had the right .cfg for the shaders.

I'm so sorry but please, please tweak your animations, or if you want I can make some and show you guys, but it really isnt that hard to make them a little more fluid, use something like 3ds max 2012, you can get a free student version and use keyframes, constraints, get a plug in called "bones pro" to make it more fluid and use curve editor to finalize the animations.
