If you want the working text for the lamp post btw, it's here.
Just replace the [galite] text in the rules.ini file with this, then it should be good to go. Only thing I couldn't figure out is how to get the cameo to appear down the sidebar, and how to make it sellable. You think this could be added in to the next mod version you guys release?

Started to make some progress with the Lamp Post mod. I played around with the Rules.ini file and started tweaking and adding in some lines of code that look like they've been left out or deleted. Here's what I got so far! Facebook.com

I put aside an unchanged copy of the MPMaps.ini in case I decide to try online, but thank you for the heads up! I tried that Owner=Special modification last night, but it didn't work. There was something deeper in the game files that needed modding, just can't remember which one. I'll look further into it

Played around with the naval code, got it to work, thank you.
Man you guys put in a lot of work with added code. There must be years worth of added lines in those INI files from what I remember from scrolling through Tiberian Sun INIs.

Great work, this is a truly impressive mod, I'm giving it a top tier rating on Moddb!

Great, thanks. Looking for some descriptions on the following. Don't have my old Tiberian Sun manual handy either, as I recall some of these being an option in the skirmish there.

- Short Game
- Build Off Ally
- Turbo Vehicles
- And how to make 'Allow Ships' a checkable option, aka having ships in every skirmish map

One more thing that I loved about past Tiberian Sun mods was the ability to build lamp posts. Been trying to mod the rules.ini file 'Alpha Post' entry to allow the construction of lamp posts as part of the base lineup. How do I go about making them buildable in-game?

Hi there guys. First off, I wanna say, this mod is friggin amazing! This has rekindled an absolute love of the original C&C series for me, and I thank you for it :)

Couple of quick questions about the gameplay that I haven't been able to figure out.

- How do we repair naval units that are damaged? There is no option to dock ships at shipyards that need repairs.

- Is there a tutorial/page that lists what each multiplayer option entails? Aka 'Build Off Ally', etc

Still looking for a fix for the orca transport glitch for FS mission 5 and onwards. The transport won't even spawn to begin the mission for me. Can anyone plz lend a hand? I've been waiting 3 months to finish this game with the TSR mod :(

Hey again guys.
Was there ever a fix for the TSR FS campaign for the dropship bug? I've battled in order through every mission in the t/s and f/s campaigns to get to this point. but now on the f/s GDI missions from #5 (Dogma Day Afternoon) all the way through to the final mission, the dropship bugs out and refuses to spawn. So the cinematic ends, mission initiates, and dropship bugs out. Lets me scroll across the map, timer ticks on, but no dropship.

Can't be a mission scripting issue since it wasn't really touched in this expansion, but I know the dropship loadout script was all modified to accommodate the dropship menu in the first missions of t/s.

Anyone know how to get around this?

The only challenge would be hollowing out the inside of the Orca component and fitting the apc snugly into the center of it. I think it'd be an awesum mod to fix the transport tho

Hey, I have a possible fix for the Orca Transport bug. As it currently stands; when you want to unload a transport full of infantry, it unloads the units one by one, instead of all together.

I remember reading once that the orca transport is essentially an amphibious APC being carried by a form of orca carry-all.
So instead of loading the Orca Transport as a unit on it's own, why don't we mod the orca transport to carry an Amphib APC, making the 2 units look like one single unit when they are attached. I attached an explanatory pic to help describe what I'm saying

Just trying to decipher the problem. Who else is having this same problem with the AI not attacking in skirmishes? I tested 1 or 2 maps, and found they attack slower, but they attack nontheless. I'm going to try work on a fix for this problem, but i need to know how many people are having the problem first.

Sorry I havn't been online in a while to view this problem. I did a bit of editing and testing of the skirmish maps before the December Release, but never came across any problems with the AI.

How many times did this happen, and on which maps? I'm releasing all of my skirmish maps as a map pack, but I want to fix this bug before anymore people encounter this error.

Im having the same problem. I followed the dload instructions, and tried a number of fixes, including reinstalling all the hw2 files, but to no avail. Has somebody found a fix for this bug yet, or is it a problem with the mod installer itself?

I like the 'Dark' feel of the map here. gives the impression of the Earth being consumed by the tiberium storm. That was one of the best qualities i liked in tib sun
