Honestly it would be easy for a release to happen in the form of a beta version. the best way to balance a game and prepare it for final release is from player testing, considerinng we havent seen a solid content release in more than a year this would be a very good idea. the concept of simply not releasing finished content is a bad idea.

i check the forums every day btw, ive been waiting for a long time just like everyone else. as i said i wasnt asking carn to speed it up i was giving an idea for a different release method. as for the "rushed to release something hes not proud of" i meant when something is DONE release it. i.e when he is happy with it

i check the modpage every day too and im very excited. this was from a standpoint to make the game better not from how the community wants it

honestly releasing it now would allow for a lot of community feedback before implementing anything new. i think it would be really helpful. also every 2 years is a bit long. i was saying that it makes for a better game in the end. i do know how you feel tho

from a game development standpoint when releasing a beta or even a game itself that is constantly being updated it is by far the best method to release in small increments and as soon as the content is finished. this allows for community feedback and makes the game incredibly flexible. you can see this in companies such as valve and games like planetside, dota and smite. i highly recommend trying something like this. it would solve balance issues and in the long term make the mod completely concrete.
im not complaining about the fact that we havent seen a solid content release in almost two years, this is legitimate advice that ive been looking over and there is clear evidence to support it. just something to think about.

full railguns field operated on naval units requires an entire nuclear fusion reactor onboard. these also are still in development. i have many other practical uses for railguns but military use is not and most likely will never be one of them

its not a patience thing im asking for content that already exists yet has not been uploaded. this allows carnius to gett early feedback. a beta as you will. i dont know how long it takes to upload a new version but i doubt its very long.

i honestly dont care if its imbalanced at the moment i just need something to keep me from getting bored

i do like the multi weapon role, it adds some more realism because they would probably carry smgs as well

carnius, you should release what you have now, whatever is finished for us to toy around with. im not saying this because i want to rush you i think it would be valuable to release your new content to the fanbase to get some feedback for balancing. you can just send whatever is done if you are willing.

should give it the ability that orcas and other planes can land, repair and refit on it, it could holt 2 aircraft above the cabin whic isnt being used for anything on the current model
