Yeah it just seems like this mod is causing more corruptions than most others do. Xray can't handle the awsome. I'll be restarting again in a few days. It'll only be like my 60th time playing through.
Will saves still become corrupt like the were? I have had to stop playing becuase of it.
I'm experiencing this too. I used to be able to sneak into the military hq to steal the documents, but I'm finding it impossible to do now.
I keep consistently crashing when attempting to eat canned food while it's still on an enemies inventory.
Sounds better than the real Sid.
I haven't seen this mod before this article was posted, but I gotta say, you've made some fantastic progress! The climbing and interaction with buttons and the world adds so much to the quality of your work! I'll be keeping an eye on you and your project for sure!
Amazing job! It's so immersive and atmospheric. The new sound work is going to add so much to the game.
I wonder though, and I think it was mentioned at one point, has the bug where the sound of rain disappears been fixed?
Yeah people do not generally sling their weapon upward like that. Though I am sure there are methods of slinging the rifle that involve a motion similar, most people drop the weapon to their side and back, or simply drop it to their side. If you watch any videos where people are running drills and courses with weapons you can get a very clear idea of how a soldier or stalker would do it.
Multicore support? Hopefully it shows. I was quite disappointed by the delay, but I've waited this long, I can wait a little while longer. Besides Black Mesa is being released and this month might not be the best time for another big mod release anyhow.
NIN all of the things!
I can't wait to try the new version of Misery. I've been putting off playing CoP for quite some time.
Well I installed a non steam version, patched to 1.0004 and I still get shadow problems and plenty of crashing. I just crashed after loading a magazine with rounds. I really want to play ZoA but I just don't have the patience that I used to.
How about a Glock 17 or 19 instead of the 18c?
I have a lot of issues with the shadows in my game when playing ZoA. It's enough to prevent me from enjoying and playing. My shadows cut off at a fairly short distance and are striped and flickering. I don't see those issues in your screen shots or video. Tonight I'll try downgrading my Steam version of the game as that's the only thing I haven't tried to do to fix it. But I've tried the near and near_border fix, I've tried changing the resolution of the shadows, and I've tried different versions of the shaders max files. Any idea what I could try?
I gotta say, if you are adding the Glock 17 into the game I will forever be in love with you. I've dreamt about stalking the zone with a Glock 17 for a very long time as it's the handgun I own and carry IRL.
Looks beautiful and runs better than most other graphics enhancing D3 mods. This is a must!
Sooooo I haven't seen news on Moddb about these mod tools that got released. They are on filefronts far cry 2 page, in the latest files section.
Goddamn this looks f'n nice.
