So I think I found what was causing the problem. Volantis was attacking a Dothraki Khal over a blood feud, which was at 99%, and somehow the resolution of that war was causing the game to CTD. Console killing the Archon of Volantis ended the war and stopped the crashes.
Ever since the update to 1.3.1 I've been having repeated crashes. It isn't random since I can't make it through the month of July in this particular save without a crash. I'm not doing anything in particular, I'm just letting time roll forward, so I don't really know what's causing it but I'd be happy to send my save if that would help.
You have to have version 2.5.2 for the mod to work. You can revert to an earlier version in the Beta tab of CK2's properties.
I've heard that you can speed up reconstruction of Harrenhal by building slave camps. Does anyone know if this has any effect on the time it takes to construct a colony?
You are looking at this?
CTD on start up with patch 2.6.1. For Steam users, if you go into the game's properties, click the Beta tab, and select version 2.5.2 from the drop down you can roll your game back to the previous version and run AGOT until the next update.
Where would I find the patch to 2.2b?
How exactly do I run the Window Switcher program?
I look forward to your upcoming, vastly superior mod work, as do we all.
It would be cool if you could rebuild Harrenhal. It would probably be a pain to add into the game, but as far as lore goes, it was discussed in passing by Littlefinger and Tyrion (in the show at least).
The economy could use some tweaking. It seems like quite a few cities (King's Landing, Fairmarket for example) just mass produce gold chalices and don't sell anything else. Like food.
I've had 2 issues with crusades. Joining a crusade doesn't stop any other conflicts, so the moment everyone leaves the crusader camp warring factions engage and wipe each other out. They also get distracted with looting and such en route.
Once we've reached the crusade target, I was unable to join the siege. All it would say something like "The attacker are retreating but the siege continues" or something to that effect. Over and over. I was already enlisted in the guys army prior to him joining the crusade, so I don't know if that would affect this at all.
I should clarify that this only happens with dialog options that include both title and name. Also, it isn't always the same faction name that replaces it.
The ladders when besieging player-castles don't allow enemy units to actually get onto the walls. They just sit there getting picked off by archers.
Strangely, after becoming of vassal of Zendar my name in some dialog options was replaced with "Sarranid Sultanate." So when I'd introduce myself, the option was "My name is Sarranid Sultanate"
I've been having a bug recently where my non-existent kingdom is declaring war against Swadia. I'll get a message reading "{!}kingdoms end has declared war against Kingdom of Swadia" and I lose honor.
Why would you say it's dead? The new version was recently released and the author is on the here helping with bugs pretty frequently.
The actual error code I get when trying to move buildings is:
SCRIPT WARNING ON OPCODE 1850: Invalid Scene_prop Instance ID: 1055; LINE NO: 9: At Mission Template mst_colony trigger no: 18 consequences.
I get a string of these with various Instance IDs.
Whatever my issue is appears to be related to the Trading Post. Deleting it via editor fixed the problem. Replacing it caused the problem to come back.
Doesn't fix it. Neither does restarting the game.
So I'm having a problem in my colonies where some unseen barrier keeps me from being able to walk around. It's almost as if there's a wall cutting my colony in half. But it isn't a straight line, so it's just weird. I also can't move any of my buildings any more either. I was getting a string of error codes in red, but now that doesn't even appear.
Great Mod! Is it possible to take supplies (Tools, etc) back from a colony?
Also, sometimes when I leave my colony and enter the water I'm told that I can only embark from Zendar. This immediately brings up Zendar's city menu. Leaving the menu doesn't help, as it immediately pops back up.
It would be pretty cool if OoG could restore the Kingdom of Angmar, the way Eriador can restore Arnor. All of the "Restore the Kingdom of So-and-So" scripts are limited to the good guys it seems. You could even have the Witch-King turn up, similar to Aragorn and Gondor.
Was the rebel army the one with the wolves?
Also, one thing that I found funny: The bios for both Lurtz and Ugluk say that they're first commander of Isengard's armies. Saruman has the Warlord of the White Hand ancillary, which also says he's the first commander of the armies of Isengard.
So Isengard has 3 first commanders, and a lot of confused Uruk-hai.
One minor thing I've noticed is that one of the listed requirements for remaking Arnor is still to own Archet, which I think was removed in one of the earlier versions.
