The only thing a beta-buyer may have to pay for will be updates AFTER the game is considered "out of beta".
So you won't have to pay for 1.5, or any update up until 11/11/11.

I just thought of something. Would it be possible on a few maps have the normal Combine player, the Resistance, and have a Zombie player? Have 2 players play in an RTS style. Having a 3-way fight would be kind of neat.
I know the Zombie thing was a joke. I was just pondering.

I think you should try making a HUD that looks like the inside of the marine's helmet, kind of like Republic Commando's single-player.
And when you say two floodlights do you mean two flashlights on the marine's helmet?
