Just a guy who interest in shooting games and some good ol' masterpieces, also interesting in historical contents from some certain video games and make some interesting reviews for them in STEAM. Their head/facial models are all improved in this updated version. Excellent work!
This is one impressive mod to play with. However, there are some suggestions and a few disagreements I'd like to leave here:
Weapons
- Patten PK470 should be appeared among SFOD-D troops also (mix with ASP Rifle).
- The replica forces on the Armacham building's rooftop sections (those with hoods and cloaks) should be equipped with other weapons apart from ASP Rifle. My recommendation is either 'Andra FD-99 SMG' from FEAR 2 or 'Sumak RPL SMG' from the original FEAR in a few or some numbers among them.
- [Optional] SHO Series-3 shotgun from FEAR2 should be included for Nightcrawlers (replace VK-12). And 'optionally' appeared among the replica shotgunners (mix with Vollmer Ultra92 (Auto-shotgun)).
- [Optional] RAAB KM50 sniper rifle from FEAR2 should be appeared in a few numbers among the rooftop replica (optional) and only one or few can appear in the Auburn section (sniping scenarios).
- [Optional] I think MP-50 Repeating Cannon could appear in a few numbers among the last sections.
Soundtracks
- I strongly disagree with replacing some of the soundtracks with the new ones. Especially "Endurance" and "Garage Battle".
- From above, as in my opinion, I think there should be another version without any new soundtracks in it. But it's all up to you.
Others
- Need to fix the crash/error/technical issues that FORCE low spec PC or Laptop users to LOWER THEIR GRAPHIC SETTINGS.
- Need clearer instruction for mod installation, at least as a note/document among the installation files.
- Those heavy replica soldiers with Gatling guns should have lower health.
More works and updates need to be done so I'll give 8 just for now.
Nevertheless, this mod is a fine example of how to show real respect toward history (WW2) in general. Also one of the greatest slap in the face for Relic as well.
Despite a huge load of historical inaccuracies (seriously, TONS of them). This magnificent game got a very impressive storyline, atmosphere, and soundtracks.
It also greatly represents the true face of war: how dark, violent and terrifying it is. But in case if you disagree with this, then I'd rather say it was VERY CLOSER than what any other game from this franchise had ever done.
Plus, Zombie mode is simply helluva fun!
The game is so good and impressive! But It could be better if you could find a way to add an English Subtitle in to your Spanish cut scenes.
