Hello Produno! I've seen the 2.0 version will be released shortly. That is why I want to thank you very much.
From changelog, however, I have not yet understood how the special and unique gear can be obtained from the owners (the usual example: Longclaw from Ser Mormont). Can I ask you some clarifications about it? Thanks so much.

Hi Produno! I just read the changelog: "If you have high enough relations with the faction that owns a location, you can get the faction blacksmith to craft faction specific equipment".
Will this feature work for unique special items too? Or are you working on other specific features about special gear? For example, how could I get Longclaw without killing or fighting the poor Ser Mormont?

Could I suggest another idea about this? What about winning the unique gear in personal duels too, maybe after reaching the maximum affinity with the owner? This could give utily to duels, that - at the moment - are practically useless. Of course this is just a sketch of idea. Let me know! :)

Thank you for the reply! I know you have a lot of work to do for now, but it would be wonderful if you could put this feature in 2.0 version. Even in an embryonic form. If you can only kill a man to obtain a gear, the role playing is compromised and the game experience too. But with this feature, the thing would be balanced. In any case, thanks again!

Hi Produno!
If I can, I would like to make a suggestion on the subject in question. Some people have raised allegations about the impossibility of getting a desired special armor (or weapon) if you don't want to kill a Lord. In fact, it seems to me to be a well-founded objection. Then I have an idea.
Give the opportunity to get the special armor or weapon after reaching the maximum level of friendship with that Lord (in the end this is exactly how Jon Snow got Longclaw from Ser Mormont ;)).
This gives you the ability to obtain a desired object in two opposite ways: either killing ("negative way") or creating strong links ("positive way").
You could add a mini-quest or a particular dialog line as a result of the maximum achievement of the relationship.
What do you think about it?
