Thanks a lot for that great mod. I enjoyed playing it for hours already.
I also played a little bit with the beam textures, trying to make them "flashy" as they appear in the Freespace Game (with SCP). After many hours I came to a solution that makes them look far more powerful like in the real game, "simply" by increasing the length of the beam (like 125x2500) and creating a beam-glow that has smaller and wider parts of the glow (in the same size, smothened the edges). That helped the beam first not appear like an animation being continued, and gave the beam the shaking we all know. If you want to test them vader, or improve that with your abilities, I won't hesitate to send them.
Moreover I tried to get the specular maps working, but failed so far. I can see the red channel of the -da.dds, that seem to be necessary, but it looks like they are not applied in the game. Here ends my competence, at least now.
I know how much work that all costs, so no matter how slow this might appear, keep up with the great work, but don't forget the rest of your life!
Looked over the path several times...is correct.
I don't mean the starting screen but the loading screen before you get into you fighter.
I updated FOC several times with the Vista Patch, just to ensure I've got the right xml-file. Copied it in the mod-folder and started the game...crashing. What I wonder is why. Foc Alliance, B5 mod, Thrawns dingens is working fine, just that one, I really was looking forward to, is not starting =( Well I guess I'll have to wait then.
Is there a special starting screen telling you that the legacy mod is running? I don't get one, just the standard screen. Maybe, for what reasons ever, the game does not detct the mod, eventhough everything seems to be right.
Got the same error, but unfortunately this solution is not working for me. Dunno why, all other mods work fine.
I think, the program doesn't see the modification, as the starting screen (where the app crashes) shows the standard SWFoc picture instead of a modded one.
Redownloaded it a few times, the modpath is correctly pointing to the legacy mod, the 64-bit xml file has been copied...really not sure at what point (this time) the program protests. =(
As simply as possible the solution: A few kb were missing from the download. Restarted it, replaced the Alliance files, and everything worked fine.

So hello and first of all thank you for that great MOD I played since the former releases (and even Homeworld 2 times). Unfortunately not all things went well.
Also had the problem with Minidump, but it seemed to be corresponding to the Alliance faction.

All Modnames enabled - MiniDump crash
So I started with the CoreFile, that began the game correctly, then added the factions one after another. Except the ALLIANCE, all factions could be included and were playable.
As soon as I bind the Alliance into the game via the text file, the game crashes with minidump from the beginning.
Have you any ideas or recommodations for that case?
