You'll need .NET Framework 4: Microsoft.com
And XNA 4: Microsoft.com
Haha, I always post Friday night to make it into the /r/gamedev screenshot Saturday thread.
Yeah the front half is an art gallery, the back half is desks. The nice part is, every month there's a "gallery hop" and 2000 people will come through the doors and potentially try out the game! I'm really grateful to be there.
You know, that makes a lot of sense! Shouldn't be too hard to fix.
Unfortunately yes. A Mac/Linux port is not out of the question, but at this point it would definitely come some time after the Windows release, unfortunately.
You found it. Watch this for context, and lols: Youtube.com
What issue are you having? The control scheme should be completely customizable.
I will make sure you get an exclusive build when the time comes!
Yeah I'm going to start over on it. It was just a test to see if I could do it and to find out if Rigify would work with my content pipeline.
It runs on Windows 7. Two things it could be: first make sure you've got .NET framework 4 and XNA 4 installed. Also make sure you're running the latest build (353). The first version (313) had a bug that caused it to crash on some systems (especially Windows 7).
Thanks for reporting that, I'll take a look and see if I can fix it.
Crap. Did it get stuck on a wall you created? You could try kicking through it if so. Otherwise... you might have to reload your last save. Sorry about that.
BTW you can hit F5 to quicksave at any time.
Hm, I see your point. I will definitely experiment and see if it helps. I do like the idea of continuing the slow motion for a split second after releasing the button.
If all 5 explosives went off, the central part should fall down. Maybe you built some walls that are holding it up? I tried to make it impossible to do that, but I could very well have missed some things.
Thanks for checking out the demo!
I'm not sure what you mean about the fuse boxes... even if you do destroy part of the connection you can always rebuild it.
As for the slowmo part, I think the tutorial doesn't do a very good job of teaching it yet. It's still a very early version. Talking about pressing jump, you have to first release the jump button and press it again. Once you get the hang of it, I think it's pretty intuitive. I wanted to keep the number of buttons low because with the slow-motion you would have to quickly switch from one button to another, rather than just pressing the same button twice. Hopefully that makes sense.
Yes you can get pretty high with the build mechanic, but I did put limits on it and in the valley level it's actually faster to stay down in the valley than to try and move around above it.
You're right about the wooden blocks though. I wanted it to be a bit more frantic. You have to get through quick before they all explode. But I do plan on redesigning that section a bit.
Thanks again for playing and commenting. I take every bit of feedback to heart!
Ah yes, I also forgot to mention in the video that I typed all the game code with boxing gloves on.
You're not the only one, some other people were having trouble running it. I uploaded a patch that might fix it for you. Et1337.itch.io
Great video man, thanks for checking out the game!
In a nutshell: red is bad, white is neutral, and blue is good.
Red damages you if you touch it. It can only infect white material, so the more you turn blue, the better.
Blue also transmits power, so you can connect a power source to a destination and it will light up.
Glad you liked it. I think the latest version (out soon!) hopefully addresses all your concerns. You can remap buttons, the "pellet collecting system" is completely gone, and the level design is a bit more open. :)
Several people had this issue and resolved it by going into the "bin" folder and running the Lemma.exe inside it (not LemmaLauncher.exe). Sorry for the trouble.

I have no idea why it's happening, but at least there seems to be an easy fix. Sorry for the trouble.
Eventually. It will require a switch from XNA to MonoGame. I've already contributed some code to MonoGame to fill in some of the missing features that Lemma needs, but it's still a long way off.
Yeah, it sounds like your graphics card isn't supported. Unfortunately you need a Direct3D 10 graphics card to play Lemma at the moment. In the future I might consider supporting older graphics cards, but it would require a complete rewrite of the rendering system. Sorry. :/
Not yet. MonoGame still needs a bit of work. I'm focusing on releasing the Windows version first.
Hmm. I'll look into it. I'll also add a "reset to default" button. In the mean time, you should be able to go to C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\Lemma\ and delete "settings.xml" to reset the settings.
