Think of the traveler who told the tale of Beowulf. Then add some synths, guitar and some epic orchestral influences and you have me. I'm an aspiring game developer currently focusing on sound design and some nicely placed story-telling. I'm the narrator for everything that's going on, spoken or not. And as you sit at your desk, lost in a world of thoughts, you begin to feel uneasy. Correct, I'm narrating you at the moment.

Transparent Horizons

Equin0x Blog

Way of the Wolf progresses very nicely as I'm sure you can tell by all the updates, transparency is really something we're fighting for with this mod and I will soon be doing my own Insight Into Development. It should be fun trying to visually and verbally demonstrate sound, I might post some accompanying pieces in order to demonstrate production more efficiently.

In other news I might post some of my alternative work on my page, can't have people thinking I only make industrial and sound effects. I actually used to DJ club and trance, so this should be a good opportunity to stretch my wings a bit and demo some of my older pieces. Who knows, anybody out there wan't some of them, just PM me, I'm very willing to tweak them. I also sing in a band, so if you're all good, you might actually get a voice to attribute these ramblings to.
Carry on my wayward sons,

A Million Tiny Sounds

Equin0x Blog

Sound effects, ah, the beauty of them...
The looks on people's faces when they come in and watch me scrape my microphone over the walls. I think its the only good time to have a cold, really helps with the moans and creepy breathing.
Fun fact for the day: the Nazgul noise from The Lord of the Rings was made by a woman inhaling sharply into a microphone while she had a particularly nasty cough... possibly a possessed cough, never made anything quite that weird sounding.
In terms of the more hardcore action music I've posted a few of my creations, feedback states that they are in the right sorta category, so I'll keep churning them out.
I've also been producing a lot of ambient and working on some Firelake-esque guitar pieces with an excellent friend of mine.
Guess that's it for recent progress, any of you dudes have a suggestion, drop me a line.
Thanks guys,

Ominousness-ness

Equin0x Blog

This site is BIIIIIIIIG, I've always visited, but I've never actually joined it...
So I guess I'm working on the soundrack for Way of the Wolf, big boots to fill. It'll be fun to dabble, but I intend to keep it in the vein of the series- no hardcore techno (unfortunately). :P

So if any of you guys are fans of the series and stumble on this humble blog, tell me what your favourite tracks from the games are and I will soak up some influence and try to channel it into something original. Godspeed my brothers.
