I tested it on multiple computers, and did not run into the problem. Without actually experiencing it myself, I have no way to fix it. I'm sorry. :(

You're not the only one to experience this error, but I honestly have no idea what the problem is. I can't seem to find the source of it. Have you tried to get in to the basement more than once?

Anyone know how to pick the locked door inside of the mayor's house? I've been wandering around for ages looking for a solution.

What do you mean? Does it just not show up when you try to launch it?

Are you sure? I have no idea what could cause that. Are you crouching when you enter the combo? Also, does the hand icon appear when you mouse over the buttons?
