Not only the best Gothic mod across all three Gothic games, but arguably the best game released in 2021.

What can I say that hasn't been said already? This is not really a mod, this is a work of art. It makes the original Quake look like a cute lil attempt in comparison.. everything from level design to the new monsters is just completely next level. It makes me wish for a campaign with connected levels and a story, tbh. That, if it ever happened, would be the best Quake ever made, including all sequels.

Just finished. Absolutely phenomenal mod, on every account, but, for me (professional deformation, I guess) sound has to take the cake - while someone could argue a point or two about gfx compared to AAA titles (said person should be kicked in the nuts and reminded that this utter wizardry is done on a basic engine that's 25 years old)the sound design in this mod is absolutely up there with the best in the business, no contest - not for a mod, for ANY game out there, AAA titles included. Perhaps the pistol and shotgun could sound a bit more beefy (and do a bit more dmg while we're at it xD) but everything else, especially ambient soundscapes are PHENOMENAL. I also liked the story despite it being kinda predictable - it's told well, which is the most important thing to keep you immersed! :) Basically, as for complaints.. really.. other than a few weapons feeling underpowered I can't think of much, really. Easily a 10/10 from me, as this is a fantastic game on it's own right, let alone a phenomenal mod.

Fantastic mod, don't mind the kiddies giving it 1's and 2's, please. It's a distilled STALKER experience, whoever finds it too hard, unfair or whatever wouldn't have liked any of the original games anyway. The gameplay is spot on, the new story stuff, although only coming after the main story is done is great as well, yes sure, it can be a bit rough around the edges but so was the original game and that's part of it's charm. Highly, highly recommended.
