Anyway, I should probably tell something about myself...

Fourteen years ago, I played my first Firt-Person Shooter, Wolfenstein 3D. I was only four years old, playing a game with animated violence... just imagine my thoughts as I died miserably in the first 30 seconds of playing. Seeing that bloody mugshot, and the screen flashing red.

For the next three or four years on my trusty 286 machine, I got better and better, and finally (in 1993) moved onto Doom.
I loved Doom, in fact, I still do. It scared the bejesus outta me, probably because I was like 8 years old :)

Although I had played Doom for so long, I was never introduced to multiplayer gaming, not until my dad helped me set up a DCC. It was joy. I even remember the exact Doom level he had picked to test it out. Joy, I say.

A few years pass, and I started to play Quake. I only had the shareware version, but me and my friends didn't care. I had my first LAN now, and multiplayer games seemed to flow so smoothly now. This is where I adopted the name EarthQuake.
A year after that, I decided upon the motto "Don't just play it... Feel it." and I've stuck with both since then.

I even remember the day I bought Half-Life at Wal-Mart. The orange box caught my eye, and when I opened the flap and saw the headcrabs on the scienists, I knew this was something to not overlook. I paid $40 right then and there.
I will never regret that decision.

To date, I am still involved with Doom. I live for Doom, especially since there aren't many to uphold the legacy. I've been making Doom levels since 1996, and alot of those levels have made me popular to my peers. A prime example is The Sewers of Death. This level redefined the way Doom should be, but that's another story ;)

I've played alot of 3rd person Doom levels, and I can finally say most of them are pure sh*t. I don't say that because I'm arrogant, but because its true. THe majority of the Doom population want to make a level, just like all HL players want to make a CS clone. And anyone who released their first map... is a retard :D
My first map was a box... and who the hell wants to deathmatch in a box?

Heh, well, I've been making levels for a long time and I've released some of what I think Doom .wads should be like. Here I go rambling about my levels again, but I've spent more than 20 hours (not including breaks) on most of them. I make them detailed, even so much that certain Ports can't handle them.
The largest level, so far, is The Sewers of Death v7.0 at 2154 Linedefs, and 3479 Sidedefs. Second place goes to Union Station at 2220 Linedefs and 3432 Sidedefs.

Hope all this interested you. :)
Peace out...
