Hey! I didn't see this comment until now, apologies. I'm doing great, still developing my game and inching closer towards release. Some good news, Rock Paper Shotgun did an article on my game Rockpapershotgun.com so that's made me really happy!
How are you doing? I saw the new groups that you started but simply didn't have time to check them out closely. Are you still writing?

You must mention when i was still writing . I stopped my story near chapter 60 but i recently began 3D modelling instead for a mod project of mine , so i'm not gaming much now , neither other things but i do take care of my group that i opened , i only opened one group called Polytheism . I invited you too but did not see you there , if i haven't please join
And not much in the rest
I have to admire you again for being the only developer of your game , you sure have skills modelling and coding all that
I now realize as i work day after day struggling to learn 3DS Max that these things aren't easily done , they take time , skills , dedication and talent and not giving up which is very important too
My project is just a total conversion for Age of Empires 2 HD , not a game but i have a sheer amount of work ahead of me
I would like help at some point but working alone has its good sides too i think

Great to hear you've taken up 3D modeling! It's a wonderful thing to learn and quite relaxing compared to most forms of technical-art IMO (and really improves one's spatial awareness too).
I'd recommend Blender for 3D modeling but I understand it's not for everyone (not to mention a UE4-Blender pipeline has many workflow/import issues that can quickly frustrate a beginner).
And yeah! It's really easy to underestimate how much effort goes into making even the simplest and smallest game conceivable. Most people will tell you to start off with a smaller project than a grand reconversion of a classic, but on the flip side if you don't take up a project you're really passionate about it can be hard to sustain momentum and "keep going at it".
In any case, keep going at it! There's a lot to be learnt from a project like yours and these skills can come in handy at any time.
Maybe you can even incorporate your writing into a game project some day. Thing is, With the short attention span that most of us have these days grabbing a viewer's attention through visual media is easier than plain text.

I tried Blender but could not understand it , it behaves differently
But instead i tried more than 3DS Max like Cinema 4D and Modo that i can understand them and all i need is to learn better how to use them
They just are understandable to me unlike some others , not just Blender , i tried a bit Lightwave 3D but could not get into it either
Small projects are not my style perhaps but the idea came out of a dream i had a night that i was playing Age of Empires 2 and it was so different and the next morning i put that in writing immediately and then it all just came naturally
The psyche is an amazing thing
I am limited by my lack of skills , at the moment i still cannot make a building to top end graphics , then i will have to learn how to make units and non linear shapes and last but not least coding but i hope i will receive some help with time
My story , yes i thought about it but this cannot be done now
I lack complete skills to be able to do that
I would love to put my story into a 3D animated movie or a static animated scene form to portray everything that's in my story
I have this idea in me already but until the day i will be able to work with animation , complex scenes and what else is needed , i cannot attempt such a thing
Even farther future speaking my story could make a game in itself too , something like a FPS/RPG like Knights of the Old Republic , maybe like Mass Effect but hahah i am not rich and nobody can do that on their own at least not anytime soon

If you don't mind me asking ,how is India these days ? Life there and so on
It's pretty great - jobs are plenty, economic opportunities abound, to the extent where an aspiring game dev can afford to quit a nice corporate job to live "the indie dream"; something that was earlier both economically and culturally unthinkable.
The long answer is that it depends on who you ask, it's a vast country is in the midst of rapid change - both socially and economically. When you further consider that each of the 29 states are ethnically and linguistically distinct (like small countries of their own), it's a mind-boggling exercise to even think about it - so I dare not pontificate on that which I do not claim to know!

I do have to note the level of poverty somewhat advertised to the outside world that's trying to be presented as iconic for India - which i'm sure you are upset by it.
India must be a great country and what attracts me most at it is its really rich and preserved history.
I'd really wanna see the Taj Mahal first if i'd ever visit it.
I also like the hindu practices and such , your festivals , your music and even your foods i had the pleasure of tasting once

Not upset at all! Honestly I wasn't even sure how the country is portrayed, that's why I gave an open-ended answer.
Now I admittedly know very little about your country - I only remember using a mnemonic "Estonia on top, Latvia in the middle, Lithuania below" when I'd try in vain to memorize the world map :)

lol - in any case, I enjoyed the conversation too. Honest talk that is slightly brusque at the time is better than empty pleasantries exchanged ad infinitum. The latter is a dull wall of words, the former is an actual meeting of minds!
