FIXED. It appears after using a custom resolution and/or installing the mod the mouse lag goes away. This isn't a PC performance issue either.

If you're using Homeworld v1.1, try the German no-CD fix. That's what I used and it is working great.

Hey I'm just adding this as a side note to my question below, there is not readme file attached with either of the RC candidates. Could I please have that text?.

Another thing that is off topic to the mod, is anyone else having trouble with their mouse in Win 7 64-bit?

Hey great to see the mod revived, but I have some issues. First of all it seems that there is quite a bit of lag, even on low settings. Also the controls seem to be different, I can barely move or select units, and the right click rotation seems broken in that I cannot move easily around the map or my ships.

Really great work, yours is the only mod that has custom UNSC ships that acutally look like UNSC ships (if that makes sense). Looking forward to seeing some more of the Covenant and the Super Carrier.

Also, does anyone else have a solution for getting Homeworld 2 to work on Windows 7? I get some really strange bugs.

No, that new content is great, its with any mod, when the team splits the mod feels empty. I continue to believe that the content Ringleader and everyone else creates is amazing, some of the best in a mod.

Yea, thats where the models are coming from. This is a proper mod, the map is being designed by me.

Well, I'm still here, but due to a computer wipe I have lost most of the mods map files and models. I am continuing work on the mod though when I have time and contributions are welcome. I will try and update this page when possible!

Why are there very little comments here, as opposed to other pages for mods on moddb? Do you clear them often.

They are trying to recreate the "experience" and Ubisoft wouldn't bother a mod. Microsoft just felt that Halogen was a threat to their upcoming RTS, whereas FC2 is already out, and made huge money.

Well, it seems these days that people would rather not create mods that take effort, but rather play said mods or use map editors to make simple tweaks. Good luck, I would like to help in any way I could, but I know hardly anything of modding.
