Survivors of Ragnarök

Game review

$5 for an Alpha? This has to be a joke. LOL.

Pretty much here if I paid (Which I am not going to) I would be paying YOU to find bugs in your game, make suggestions for its improvement/fine tune it for you.

You know there is a profession that actually gets paid to do this kind of work. And that's "Game Tester"/"Play Tester". And yes, they do get paid. They don't do the backwards thing of paying the company to test/refine their product.

Secret Maryo Chronicles

Game review

Some of the graphics are ok, such as the BG's and some enemies. A little too vibrant for my tastes though. The main character sucks too..

Sound department (including music) is in the same boat. Really poor level design as well.

I'm a Linux user, but I'm no fanatic. Why can't people make up their own unique characters?

Why "Tux"? Pffft. It just makes the game so generic.

Hedgewars

I never played any of the Worms games this is based off of. Just chanced upon it in the Ubuntu Software Center.

Good game to kill time in.. Learning curve for aiming weapons is somewhat steep though. They should add a small trajectory for single player so newbies can get used to aiming easier.

Minecraft

Game review

Not a bad game. The dev of it though seems to think it's almost finished.. IMO, it's far from it.

Minecraft (Single Player) as is, is pretty much:
1) Gather resources.
2) Build / Craft with those resources.
3) Go to 1.
Why can't there be some seed generated towns, npc's, dungeons and quests too?

The game really isn't optimized well either. You'll probably have better luck running Crysis than Minecraft.

Charging $15 for this is a crime. Everything in this game has weird eyes too.
