GMDX is a great mod, and the sheer amount of fixes and enhancements that this version contains does provide a certain peace of mind when playing through the game. The authors have also been very responsive in fixing the few issues that slipped through the cracks since the initial release.

Quite a few changes introduced in GMDX have indeed been reverted, however I have yet to find anything that detracts from what the mod sets out to be. Quite the opposite actually, I actually appreciate the faithfullnes to vanilla that V10 has over V9. For example, the 10MM pistol is no longer named “Glock”, which is something that always bugged me a bit with V9.

Overall a great effort. I can see myself playing through this game another dozen times with it.
