Personally I would need no more than a single stash or NPC to happily explore these areas.
It is all a matter of atmosphere and empty world environment for me but without ANY interaction to look for the point is really not there.
So I am really looking forward to seeing what happens with this data treasure that you reveal to the community.
I guess it would require a single dedicated scripter/spawner to conjure a playable level expansion for us (the community)?
Yes, but its fairly easy once you get the hand of it, its just ... linear work. You have to think of 3 things, how much population you want (humans/mutants), if you the level to contain many treasures and where they should be kept and lastly what the mood of the level needs to be. Especially this last part determines a player to go to the level or not. If its described as an fairly populated area with many mutants and not too many stalkers, the player would feel tempted to go there. But if it was a stalker base or something alike, you would know you'd not have much action there :)
A couple of new patches and an addon have now been released for this. Fixing a lot of the problems and adding new textures. The result is a much more polished map pack now waiting for the story builders and scripters.
Thanks for sharing David!
