It has been confirmed that clones will look like snowtroopers in cold places.

The Imperators only appear in GC when the Republic is reorganized into the Galactic Empire. So, they're grey. They stopped painting ships at this point. The venators and Vi-wings at the end of ROTS are grey.
So, it'd make more sense not painting Imperators red, but venators, acclamators, procurators, invincibles, peltas, v-wings, ARC-170s and everything else grey.

In 1.2, this is fixed.

It's in the RAW 1.3 unit list.

The Deathwatch or the CIS or both could very much have killed Satine and the old government returned. A pacfifist government wouldn't last very much in a war.
