Its possible to make flamethrower napalm actually stick to the targets? Brutal doom has the best incarnation of this weapon, but strangely unlike the most, even mediocre ones, hasn't basic ability to ignite target itself.

When anniversary patch came out i was afraid it will break everything but also i had a strange thought it will ironically fix mod against all usual expectations for some reason, and it did. Sadly not everything, but its best anniversary gift.

This mod is just awesome. Period.
The gameplay, the models. I also like how faithful you are that such thing as chinook helicopter on soviet side, which can be seen as blooper by the people who know something about soviet transport helicopters, was justified and turned into a feature, by correcting the model to the actual soviet twinblade transport Yak-24 helicopter. Damn i thought abot myself when i imagined how red alert could be remastered and how such things would be handeled and tried to find logical explanation of them. Overall all models look like their original, but yet with very reallistic aproach, as they would look in real life, instead of other type of modes, which simply take primitive unit sprites and translate them as primitive 3d models.
I also like it lacks sour SC-like ********, which some mods which aim to be "perfectly balanced" as Contra, which became really boring, or Mental Omega, speaking about perfect examples, but not from generals scope, actively try to embrace, im talking about boring, tasteless rock-scissors-paper balance. But here we have units which feel like actual objects existing in this world, but not fabricated list of stats to to be "a part of the puzzle". This feeling really stacks with former point of their realistic, almost alive look. Helicopter can shoot at everything with everything they got? Checked. Actual machineguns on tanks(a real heresy for average R-S-P balance fan). Even if not from the start, anyway../ Checked. I've been waiting for this approach for so long. Such picture was already seen in your former project TD redux. I like it. I hope you will keep this spirit.
Do you plan to add gore, like already mention contra has? Im not insisting, but its like gore in shooters which help to feel the impact from your weapon in RTS it help to feel impact from units.

Well, if something has a twin cannons, it doesn't make it look like overlord, the model shouldn't be designed as overlord, thats all. And for some reason there is no problem for EU faction to have one, and somehow it was possible to make him look distinct from his Chinese brother.

Mod is awesome, but now it have following problems:

1.Striders are unkillable, the only thing that can rid of them is grav.grenade, but even in the end "follow the freeman" i couldnt kill the last one by any means, so i had to use noclp.

2.In episode one the things is much more grim. In certain areas you can just crash when you are trying to move.

3.Also when you pick ANY grenade in episode one - its always lead to crash in my case.

4.Also at this point cnarks do nothing, besides trying to attack you first, they are completley ineffective as weapon.

I really do hope that Nod wont abandon cyborg technologies, even after cabal come out. Because otherwise some big part of Nod faction which is making it special will be lost. Nothing really prevent them from continue to build cyborgs of the same technologies, before CABAL went rogue.

And i know maybe im digging to deep, but i dont think that this cabal is the same one as it was in the firestorm, and Nod and GDI we see at the current version of TE is post firestorm factions, and nod still has cyborgs, and CABAL which will appear at 2.0 is CABAL reappearance after it was defeated(not direct cotinuation as if it would be alternative reality where cabal wasnt defeated and where it core wasnt defeated, so CABAL introducation isnt alteration of existing timeline with everything we had in mod before, and, as i hope, new version just develope existing TE story further where cabal will make it come back, and everything we have with other remain "canon" if i can use this word towards mod), and cyborgs which he will bring with him not hijacked from current nod, but old ones survived from TS era or new, build on technologies it has from TS. I hope you get the idea. Sorry for a longread.

It doesnt mean thet nod lost all technologies to build their own cyborgs and use them against cabal, or hijack and reprogramm CABAL ones, it doesnt make sence to abandon technology if it proven to be effective. Cyborgs was large part of Nod TS arsenal and made it special as subterrain units. Lack of them was the thing why tiberium wars suck.
By the way answer on question about mechs "Well, why were they ever used in the first place then?" can be that GDI did not calculate the costs right at the first place and came to this later. Personaly i dont want to justify it, but as you can see even this EA decision can be justified.

I really hope that Nod wont lose their cyborgs, as a mod desxriptions states it take a picture if nod wont abandon their TS technology as happened in tiberium wars, and if they will lose cyborgs, it just repeat the story of tiberium wars, which this mode tried to escape.

Just beat it. I always wanted something like black mese, but on goldsrc engine, juts like crowbar did remake of half-life and somebody did remake of black mese, on engine of game it tries to remake. Awesome mod. But i knew there wount be happy ending. It was floating in the air.
The only thing that i lacked is xen levels, something what was classic in all hl1 games. Even in blue ****, but compare to Barney atleast we can get our hands on gluon(even if only it appears right before in the end) and hivehand. And sadly all reintroduced HL1 cut enemies was cutscenes only.

Ive noticed some bug, when nod cyborg dies, in some cases its spawn green gems from ra instead of tiberium. I think it happens because some gems was near. And somehow their grow accelerates when blossom three is near, so they acts partially like tiberium, but well thats maybe because of yhem having same class. Maybe you already know it.

And you removed termit in the last patch cus you recycle its subterranean movement for new chrono tank, so people cant see how it will look on units, which still use subterranean mechanic, but you can still acquire some from crates, like subterranean APC. What about them? Well i suppose if you decide to recycle that mechanic, it means game didnt allow two instances of this mechanic. There is no ther way? Will they be leaved like this?

I dont want to hurt anybody, but i think that old warith model is far more better and interesting in design. It really looked like aircraft based on alien technologies, but now its shape is too alien, i would say too simple and dull. Its looke like simplefied version of the protoss corsair. I really like the old one.
