Not the absolute worst mod/map I've ever played (there's far worse), but there are some improvements I think you should think about in the future.

-There seems to be some major framerate issues that I have exclusive to this map. Make sure there's no leaks or anything, and also you could try splitting this into multiple maps instead of making it all one giant map.
-The environment feels very blocky with no slopes or anything in it (if there were slopes, I didn't see them).
-Maybe some lights and more textures would do? Fullbright maps/mods will always cause people to look away. Also like 2muchvideogames said, more than 4 textures can be a major step forward :)

You can also try creating a shortcut of the eduke32.exe thing and then add -forcegl.

However, you would suffer some severe lag issues, but it's better than not playing.

I don't think the developer is active right now, and even if he was, making those kind of graphics would be difficult, and you couldn't imagine how laggy the game would get for some people.

You need Half-Life 2, judging from what the mod is based on (Look at the top of the webpage, it says Half-Life 2).

I really like this custom renderer, I find it better than Xash3D. If you find this useful, I'm making a work-in-progress compatibility list. Hope it helps the developer (RedFrog)! :D

This mod is really fun, but you REALLY need to add a medbox and ammobox, like, pay points to get them. There's like, no way to get pistol ammo and you can't heal yourself unless you kill yourself.

My computer is terrible at running HL1 at OpenGL (LAGSPIKES WITH FLASHLIGHT AND LIGHTS), but might as well try.

Hey there, I'm having an issue with Half-Life: Redux. I installed everything the way it asked to install. I installed the game into the Steam Half-Life folder and the game appears in my Steam Game List, but when I launch the game, the screen is entirely black and I need to force quit the game. Help?
