It will run just fine. I've been running the same build as Sizer on a 5770, with no bugs, glitches, or any other problems.

Setting aside that this image looks awfully like Cthulhu's cotton candy machine, why is this so over-saturated? Do people honestly enjoy these terrible ENB series jobs where the colors are over-saturated and the contrast is god-awful? Yeah, great way to improve the visuals, the only thing this is missing is more lens flare and bright lights.
Amazing that this is an in-game screenshot and not a render, says a lot for how far its come
It says in the name, and in the description. UN rebels.
As a player flyable craft, no, but they will be available as carrier launched weapons (missiles simulating carrier launched craft).
Just thought I'd throw out a heads up; be sure to check this page regularly throughout the day, might have a public release ready for you guys. It won't be much, but it'll be a taste of things to come.
Can't say I'd advise that; this and stations and installations like it will be an important part of the metagame, providing resources or research bonuses to whomever claims it. At least, that is the current plan.
If we could, I'd like to put the ship name and hull number, or other such information onto the ships, but the way freelancer is it wouldn't be easy to do.
There is however plenty of room for improvement though, I agree. FL-THC is the first mod I've textured for so I'm still learning. All of these ships are works in progress, and likely will be till the mod dies.
That is in limbo right now, but it will scale as you would expect. A cruiser will cost significantly more then a frigate. At the same time, we are not having currency in the conventional sense; as an officer in the UNSC or Covenant, it would not make sense for you to pay for a ship out of your own pocket. Instead, currency will be used to simulate experience or prestige. We also have it so that when you purchase weapons or equipment, you aren't buying the weapons, instead you are requisitioning the crew to man them (you may notice this in the screenshots where GREEN is attached to weapons). This enables us to have an experience system; a veteran gun crew performs much better then a green one, thus giving players a choice to make. Do they stay in their frigate with very experienced, highly powerful gun crews, or do they start over and become a cruiser manned by rookies. A flotilla of Frigates with legendary crew will be a force to be reckoned with indeed. All of this is of course subject to change, but this is the current plan.
Its still in the works. We've been doing a lot of internal testing with the combat balance, including the addition of another group of ships (the heavy and light cruisers for both sides). Once we have it more or less figured out, we'll probably shoot some combat video.
This ship is a nasty customer up close, it has a potent armament of SSAK-49s and one SSAK-77. Definitely one of my current favorites.
It's still coming. We've finished our initial series of tests and Were (RifTheFox) is adding in the second groups of ships (CL-CB class) for initial balance testing.
The names here are mostly a joke, poking at bad ship names. In this case I think it was actually a Covenant DDH XD
Yes, though not necessarily with that name in the case of the frigate. The frigate from Halo 2, the Marathon, and Halcyon will all be added for the UN, and the Assault carrier from halo 2 as well as the Truth and Reconciliation style covenant cruiser from Halo 1. It is worth noting they may not be available at the start of the game, but added later as a part of the research system each side will partake in.
Indeed it is, we almost have a basic test build finished and some screenshots from that should be up here in a few days.
nice model, looks particularly awesome from a side profile.
well, it doesn't have it yet, but the way I understand it, the final releases will have a OpenSP component for those anti-social types.
Way to go folks, keep up the good work!
Hey, I recognize my handiwork!
