What did you expect to happen, exactly? And, are you ultra sure you're using the Windows version of the game, not the DOS one?

A really minor update with v1.0b in preparation for the next proper release.
Bro, if you would read the instructions from the tool's webpage on WoG the link in the mod's description leads to, you would know you have to repack the archives into the same format but without compression, not make some "loose files everywhere" directory with subdirectories. The author even wrote a detailed explanation why.
Yes. You didn't read the changelog, hehe, that states you have the badge to use in place of the armor temporarily, so knights or paladins would talk to you. Also, you will get it [the protective body gear] after showing Lord Hagen the fixed Eye put on.
Try to degrade the DX11 wrapper [use the repository there: Github.com | the version of DX11 from the YAUP installer of v2.6.8.(.1) is 17.8.15 | just unpack the earlier downgrade version and overwrite) or use the legacy wrappers from the installer (reinstall again and select the other wrappers and the version of the mod [SC/RC] you already have), to see if it solved anything.
DX11 was/is/will always (be) in its beta phase, so bugs like this are to be expected.
For those who couldn't set sail to the final destination in v2.6.8, because the captain was stubborn, the v2.6.8.1 fixes this (and a few other inconsistencies with the ship, crew, and captain), so you no longer have to force clip into the captain's cabin on the vessel.
I ain't a fan of L'Hiver's world or any other, since most of them are unoptimized and are overloaded with polygons that generate stutter even with Union and/or DX11 and/or numerous graphic wrappers. Therefore, it's the original world with some adjustments.
Maybe at some point (there were some attempts). Don't hold your breath, though.
Apparently, the "Public Beta" branch is under THQ Nordic control, which means the new 64 bit re-release. Therefore, the "Original Release" must be the one you want.
However, that being said, I tested this mod before THQ Nordic messed up the Risen releases everywhere with their "new shiny update", so I will have to perform extra tests for compatibility and installation troubleshooting before I release the next version of EPU.
The v1.0a was repacked into an installer with the newest NSIS of v3.09. This should stop issues when launching and/or installing under (specific?) Windows 10/11 configurations. Otherwise, it's the same as v1.0. Cheers.
The installer installs the comprehensive package that's enough upon itself and requires nothing else; especially not the ancient, by now, SystemPack (or whatever "fixes" you had).
Tested and does NOT work with the THQ Nordic 64 bit re-release of Risen.
It's "Naphtha" and Garett, the pirate, sells it in the Chapter 3 and up, son.
I need details about Diego and duplication. Best if you would come to the Discord server of this mod; it would make debugging so much faster and easier.
Milakee is the most wonderful thing. Keep it close, you want as many as possible...
You shouldn't have any crashes beyond some very rare and sporadic ones. I made the point of honor for my mod to be as stable as possible, because I too, played many other NotR mods before I began creating this one, and they were all crashing like crazy all the time.
That's of course until you would introduce a plethora of random plugins/patches/cucumbers you found on Steam/somewhere (it's almost guaranteed I didn't test for the compatibility; my own included {in the installer} collection was tested thoroughly, of course).
Very good, very good.
As for the animations, they are from the ancient Russian mod "Saga" something; then they were spread wide by L'Hiver and Da Returning.
Download v2.6.5.1 as soon as possible and install over 2.6.5, because the critical error in the Chapter 5. If you're already in the Chapter 5, find a save from the Chapter 4 or earlier.
anathem10 Come to Discord, so I can fix this. It's easier to provide assistance there than here.
The update of 2.6.3 version has all internal bugs, exploits, and issues eliminated, and it's based on a successful completion of the game. It's highly recommended to use it in any circumstance, hehe.
There's no "crits" in this game, as you experienced yourself.
I uploaded the "warmfix" for v2.6 that fixes the "orders" scroll and Vatras, plus mangled Constantino's dialog about teaching alchemy. Fully compatible with the saves made in v2.6, just pay attention to what version you're using as the base, so it would match with the one from the fix (there are two, like in the installer). No overwriting involved. It will be later integrated into YAUP v2.6.1 full installer. Cheerio.
Howdie, and Smashing Next Annual Calendar Graduation to you too.
Works as intended. Refer to the "quick reference" file for more info.
The version of magical 2.6 iteration is here. Just make sure you've read the instructions in the installer, to avoid random issues, he, he.
Let's go.
You (wo)man of small faith. I'm doing everything I can to release for Xmas holiday; literally two things to finalize left, then create the archives, then the installer, and then upload it to ModDb.
Steel your butt, it's coming, even if slightly delayed.
EDIT: IT'S HERE.
Sure. I never uploaded to Steam, though, so it won't be fast. But I will do whatever I can to make it available there. Plus, the changelog is already on the mod's Discord channel of #development-general.
LuckyBlackbird The v2.6 is up. You know what to do.
Son, click "Read more" in the file's description.
The screenshots were updated. The premiere is around the corner, so get ready.
Before anyone asks: I changed the picture and now this comment above doesn't really fit (or does it?).
