Now, this is minecraft with *GASP* an actual game attached rather than being "let's play lego for a while with maybe some mobs attacking us and losing everything every week as it's updated".

This game actually has *gasp* gaming elements.

Really to me from what it sound like most minecrafters want they'd be MUCH better off with maya or some CAD tools, while I like being able to build stuff and I want some realy honest-to-god gaming elements included as well, which is EXACTLY what this game offers, which is why when IT showed up on market/play store/ that I purchased it over minecraft PE.

One negative I will say, is like ALL mobile 1st person(and other) games is that touchscreen controls just suck period. They REQUIRE you to cover up portions of the play field which in many cases is kinda important in many situations... but I digress as this is not about the game just general stupid touchscreen device controls.

Nice try, but really lacking(to me) anything that REALLY at the end of the day makes me want to play. It's more like a shallow cellphone game than a sandbox/deformable/build whatever game, although doing a little research into the dev I can see why: many shallow iphone games, and well, this(commercially(v. "free")). Block Story does a MUCH better job of making a game of "let's play legos" and having game elements. (And to think that I bought into the indieroyale highlight because of this game yet found another entirely unknown to me at the time game, towns to be FAR more interesting and fun.)

VERY SURPRISINGLY addictive for being relatively simple so far, and a FAR more entertaining game than the other two in the bundle that I purchased(originally looked for 3079 and found it bundled with Towns and some EXTRA poor platformer or something which was godawful.)

Almost PERFECT AND what I'd've expected TF2 to be rather than the POS thatg TF2 turned out to be. I still play TFC(and GREATLY miss Frenchy's low grav server and other low grav servers and other mods but NOT the cheaters that seem to inhabit most modern TFC servers).

The few bit of new things in FF are a bit ridiculous, and the maps aren't all that wonderful so I pulled a point off for failure of final execution. (Had they been a commercial competitor I would've given them a MUCH lower score and lambasted them more, but for what they had to work with and accomplished it's QUITE VERY GOOD.)

Nice try so far. Cutting off mfg for money is a POOR design decision gamed by their prior KS support that must've gamed the XCOM system. It would be better to makre it an OPTIONAL FEATURE than removing it ENTIRELY.

Beyond that their tactical combat is slavishly faithful to XCOM so far... (yes I'll revisit for beta and release fanbois), but so far I'm meh. UFO Extraterrestrials with some mods was wonderful, and the UFO Aftermath/Afterlight/Aftershock were fun(I loathe RT BTW even w/"pausing").

So in total v. the other pretenders Xenonauts copies best(minus useful cash flow control which should be a game option for those opposed to it) and clearly (so far) better executed and likely lower funded attempts... a 6/10 we go and I'm being generous. I'd give more IF they HAD added some actually innovative features rather than slavishly copying the original, however... slavish copy is what we have so far in alpha.

ooo... scaling 320x200 NES/SNES gfx to 1080p FTW(... FREE CLUE: NOT!), along with "oh hey! a mouse! let's just NOT use it for anything useful just like Gothic 1 & 2 FTL! OMGWTFBBQ!!!1111!111!!!11 Teh game is so awesomeness... NOT evar...)

IF I COULD give this POS a ZERO OR NEGATIVE score, I damned well would. Also bear in mind I picked this chunk of crap up in an indieroyale bundle, including two FAR FAR FAR BETTAR games(towns(the underdog TOP pick for me), and the disappointing 3079 although not NEARLY as shite as this one...)
