Heya XDJ, just wanna say that this custom story is amazing and a nice finale to your memories trilogy. Unfortunately, nobody can escape the ''story and puzzles bad 4/10'' reviews on moddb. I dont think those reviews really have played a lot of custom stories. Almost all custom stories have the ''torture'', ''amnesia'' and ''escape'' elements in the story. Yes this story has those base elements as well, but you have built upon that and expanded it into a really nice universe, with intricate plots, good usage of withholding information and nice story arches that really made me feel like I was placed in your universe. I dont think that some reviewers have played your previous mods, which are the prequels to this one and are integral to the story. The curse of lost memories has closed the story really good.

Furthermore, I know you like to make your puzzles tough. Puzzles are a tricky thing. While some dont try to think and rate mods badly because of it, others can solve the puzzles without help (just git gud). No matter whether you make your puzzles easy or tough and doable, there will always be a party that do not like it.

But then again, story and puzzles are just a small part of a custom story. Its sad that most reviews do not include the rest what makes Amnesia good as well. The horror, the way tension is built up with ambiance, the environments and of course the monsters. Which you know how to do :)

Heya, you should try Maze of Lost Memories and Woods of Lost Memories as well. They are the prequels of this one and definitely as good :)

Maybe an idea: just like your Czech translation project, release all the mods under one project page. So they are grouped as well. It will be easier for people to find these small and old custom stories that want just a bit of nostalgia and/or fun with random custom stories. It will also not drown other new custom stories that are under development/just released, as some people suggested here.

Hey, can you give me a clue on how to proceed in the Attic? There are several hatches, but they all lead to areas that I have been before. I have seen a sealed off area blocked by various stuff, but I do not know how to get there.

Honestly, I think it was impulsive of me and I did not think it through. I was still a bit fired up from HGA. However, I will always stand by the points that I made on the page of HGA. And yes that had nothing to do with this mod.

I'm not going to delete my comment here, I do think I shouldn't have done that, but to delete it would be cowardly.

Okay, I would love to see you make an actual mod that is better than HGA. What you have made, I cannot call mods at all.

But you definitely should make a serious mod and proof that your statement is valid.

With careful consideration, I cannot prove that the developer ripped HGA off, which I thought because the map looks almost identical. The developer could have made the map by his/her self. But I thought this was too much of a coincidence, since HGA was released just a while ago and this suddenly popped up with a map that looks identical.

Bro, those mods of him/her were just 5 minutes troll mods of mocking other developers. In Verberalis he/she even admitted that he/she made alt accounts to be toxic and solicit responses of actual good developers, which he then placed in Verberalis. Absolute toxic person he/she is.

Dont bother talking to him, this is just another troll. Just look at his reviews of other mods and his/her own mods. Just terrible. He has no valid arguments and thus starts to insult others.

Although AlexanderPERSONA9449's troll mods are for me the ONLY troll mods I can get behind as there is some effort put into this and it just is covered with layers of irony, his/her mods are not to be taken seriously and only for a silly laugh.

However, Lester79, I do agree with you fundamentally on your point that this community had gone to ****. Indeed mods that are proper are being rated very low and mods like this instantly get a 10. Look at hunting ground aftergame for example. Amazing mod but some just vote it low on stupid points like TiManGames and holier than thou while sitting on their big ego people like darkfire_productions defend such people.
