Kind of sucks how there are barely any places to actually recruit templars and templar related units... =(

Very intriguing. I probably sat here several minutes, disappointed that I couldn't think of anything else to say. The English Language doesn't hold the words I need to describe the compliments I want to envelope you in.

This needs a new everything.

They have left to recruit troops and manage their fiefs. They disappear and start somewhere else (Of course they're going to leave your party they're a lord now) to recruit troops. They should still be around somewhere.

Get companions and invite them to hold a fief. You can do this by being near a fief and going into the "Can I ask you something" tab. Then ask them if they want to hold a fief. And try to get your persuasion skill up, it helps. Also, if France still owns it's land, then conquer some of their land (or all of it) and ask lords who's land is right next to yours rather than in the middle of French territory (Hence the "in a sea of enemies" reply).
