some achievements really are that. Some achievements like getting a 5:1 kill ratio in COD4 multiplayer require an amount of skill that make you feel godlike when you get them, and others like finding all COG tags in Gears of War make you feel like you are a more observant individual than you normally are. Sure some of the achievements are stupid or just insanely hard/time consuming, but the ones that aren't are nice to get every once in a while. It's like someone walking up to you and saying "you did something cool, here's a cookie\".

Valve doesn't want people modding the AI Director because then it would be easy for them to recreate the "AI Director 2.0" or whatever, thus proving that L4D2 is just an expansion pack (and robbing them and EA of more money)

I do believe that I have soiled myself after watching that trailer. Is this a multiplayer only mod or is there a possibility of singleplayer as well? I can't seem to find any exact info to that matter.

SP definitely has better immersion in the game, but Co-op with some good buddies is sooooooooo much more fun, especially if you are playing at a party of some type.

ha lol i loved those flash movies! it should be awsome to re-enact the movies on the game itself! definitely watchin this one!
