BF1942! Look what the guys over at Desert Combat have produced, only a few months after the release of the game. Bloody amazing. It wipes the floor with every other mod on earth in terms of what it's done (excluding NS :D)

I see Jabb, it's like the chewy's crossbow in Star Wars? Sounds good, i'll try something like that. Perhaps it could be a homing gun - an opposite charge encases a bullet which homes in on a charged target.

try and get the IRC asap, gamesnet will let us, u need to do some strange sign up though...

I'm considering dropping laser and energy weapons from the game, and sticking with projectiles. What do you guys think? Lasers are a bit fairy. If we could give a laser weapon a realistic model and a good background story, perhaps it could work...

that's cool - staying with projectile weapons promotes a grittier, harder more realistic future, laser's are for fairies, quite frankly. ;)

Don't worry about what's in other mods, just make it an excessive firepower mod :D i can remember some things from tribes1 shifter though...about 10 packs - the "flight pack" - unlimited jet (LOL). Juggernaut armour, could wield the tactical nuke, i used to play gladiator armour with the rocket launcher - LETHAL combo! :)

guys we need to get an IRC channel up ASAP, can someone approach gamesnet or something? They are an excellent way of collaborating, and just for general discussion.

i think Co-Op is a heap of fun with a few mates, because it's an SP scenario rather than an MP scenario (which is repeated over and over and is very predictable! - e.g de_dust)

lookin cool, though make sure it stands out from the other buildings when they're made, because the HQ/Town Center buildings always have to look the prettiest, to exert their importance :)
