Entertainment is Mandatory is proud to present Citizen Participation Mandatory, a twin-stick arena shooter set in a dystopian future.
The player takes the role of a manager forced by the government to run a battle arena tournament named Killapalooza which for the sake of merchandising rights and the appeasement of the TV ratings board is masquerading as a gameshow.
When the player is not managing the arena they will be playing in it, taking control of a contestant given special benefits over the other combatants in order to influence the outcome to appease the 3 overarching factions providing funding for the tournament.
