Hey mate, don't be such a douche. High Schoolers have every right to play this game.

I'm 15 and I've been playing rated M Games for the past 2 years. My Mother was wary about it at first, but after she saw the games, she understood I was responsible enough not to emulate the content. This is the problem with the way rating systems work: People assume that anybody under the age of 18 is some pliable piece of putty that will instantly start killing everyone around them at the first sign of a gun. Yes, there have been underaged shooting sprees, but maybe it isn't video games that caused them to do that, maybe it's the fact that they were stupid to begin with.

I for one am excited for this mod. I enjoy games that genuinely scare me, and quite frankly I haven't had one since Penumbra:Overture. I loled at Commonsense Media saying "HALF LIFE 2 HAS EMOTIONALLY AND PSYCHOLOGICALLY SCARRING AMOUNTS OF VIOLENCE AND TERROR"

Anyways, tl;dr Mkilbride is a stuck up ******* who thinks that a 17 year old is the same as a 10 year old. As if the moment you turn 18 you are magically mature enough to watch anything.

Yes, I know. But those aren't the maps we're seeing you do here. I would really like to see your WIPs, maybe play through a few of them. I think your stylization is more true to the Portal 1 feel, while Alive&Kicking is trying to combine the two. All I ask is you upload one or two of the maps you did finish to Megaupload or something. I would really appreciate it.

Look, I understand that you have merged this mod with alive and kicking. But for those who prefer seeing your work, (which in my opinion looks MUCH more like Portal 1) could you please upload your old maps? I would be very interested to see them. Thank you for your time.

Don't be such a nitpick Kirbychu. Keep in mind that Portal takes place around 20 years after the GLaDOS activation, which gives it about just as much decay as the ruins of chernobyl. Google Chernobyl and you'll see.

I believe I can be of service as a Voice Actor. I have a good variety of voices I can make. I would appreciate a Private Message if you are interested.

How can I put these Textures in my Normal Portal Game? I tried moving Materials into it, but it didn't work. Any advice/help?

This is just... awesome. I loved the setup of Portal 1 Puzzles since the maps ran fast, but the Portals in the Game didn't render well. Meanwhile in Portal 2 the maps (while beautiful) run very slowly on my computer, but the portals in them render VERY well. So I thank you in advance for making this amazing mod. PLEASE don't die. This looks so cool, and I can't wait to see your work finished!

You really need to learn how to spell the world "Prologue". The U is at the end.

Prologue

Prologue

Other than that, this seems like it won't last 2 days without turning deader than a Tree in a Forest Fire.

hm... when trying to play the game it says "SetupArrayNull" and that something is set at 0? What can I do to resolve this issue?

I would like to see thie guy at least release the models and stuff for the Parasites. At least then we could throw them in our games and spawn them around.

Hm... this game looked so awesome that I signed up just to comment.

Now let me first give you kudos on staying alive. I've seen way too many mods that are old and forgotten, and they look fantastic. But enough of that, your mod in particular stands out to me. You have devoleped a game within a genre that very few people (including authors, directors, and other game developers) ever try to attempt: a full fledged alternate history. While games like BioShock may have that they only do so in a way that makes it appear that this story could happen in our reality, when in fact this never did happen (the general public knowing about dinosaurs in germany). And you are able to present this in a seemingly intellectual way. But THEN add on top of that fact that you are creating rather humorous commentary on World War II (which sadly few people ever attempt. Maus is a good example) and I must say I am impressed. And to top if all off it looks pretty kickass. This game looks like it would have the ability to make it in the "big leagues" assuming it's cleaned up a bit. So let me just say that I tip my hat to you and I can't wait to see the finished product.
