The only safe stash place is in the First Bunker in Cordon.
Otherwise the NPC's only steal guns from your chests in other places

What exactly were you doing? Are you trying to install the mod? Or updating the game to install? Or has it just started crashing all of a sudden?

You can only use the v1.0005 patch for this mod. If you have updated past that, you will need to uninstall the game and reinstall it.

You should install it to where you installed Stalker to. When I installed mine it Automatically detected where my game was installed to.
Was your game updated to v1.0005 when you installed it? (Note that updates after and before cause errors)

When in the game press Esc to open your game menu and press F1 or F2 or F3 and it should bring up a spawn menu.

Attempt to either kill all duty or all freedom guys as soon as you spawn. I believe it's to do with a certain duty guy who only has binoculars equipped and tries to shoot the freedom guys with it.

Does anyone know of any ammo clip/magazine mods that work with SMP?

I was looking at Kirag's Magazine Mod but I'm not sure how compatible it would be.

That's cos stalkers "Loot" your stash. It's supposed to be fixed in the next update, whenever that may be.

I believe it's due to a Duty member to your right just up the hill, he only has a pair of binoculars and he tries to shoot with it. I got around it by quickly shooting him before he pulled them out. (Then killed the rest of duty scum!)

I didn't get passed the Garbage. Was all good till it hit night time and I took a stray bullet to the head from a bandit with an AK :(

Time to start a new game with a new challenge.
No repairing weapons or armor, only buying them or lootin. No buying health packs, bandages or food. And no stash. And if I die, I restart.

Let's see how far I get :P

2.5 wont be out anytime soon. Just get the latest patch and try to bear through the crashes ;)

Army Warehouses is really buggy. Check the last line of your game crash log.

It'll be in your shared documents folder, EG: C:\Users\Public\Documents\STALKER-SHOC \logs\xray_"Insertnamehere".log

Jamie1922 is one of the script writers for the mod.

Make sure he isn't blocking your bullets when you're shooting him. The best approach is to rush at him with a shotgun and shoot him in the face :)

What are your Computer Specs? Could be your Hardware overheating?

Try loading back to a save before you first reach the warehouses then enter and try?

I believe it's a problem with the Duty NPC's that shoot down the freedom soldiers upon entering the area. I read up about it and most people say they only got past by shooting the freedom soldiers and not letting the Duty soldiers get shot.

When I tried that it still didn't work. Instead I shot all the Duty guys. I also noticed two of the Duty guys tried to equip and shoot a pair of Binoculars. To which it then crashed. It took a few times until I killed those two guys before they tried to shoot with them. Both of the guys are on the right hand side.
