Hello dear unknown reader; what to say, except that when I played for the first time,long time ago, Battlefield 2 was a real revelation for me! Because, yes, this war game, even old, is perfect; really, it is! Everyone can play, young or old, men or women! It's realistic enough, but does not go too far in the horror of the real war, as do too many current games; I do not like them, because of this: with Bf2, there is a way to have fun with friends without having the impression of being a psychopath! You agree? Now, i have to talk about the editor: yes, it's buggy, but many wonderful people gave us free solutions for help us; and, yes, thanks to them, and with a little imagination, we can create so many beautiful things, landscape, scenario: and with some additional software, of course; Bfeditor is clearly the masterpiece of this success that still today, after so many years, this game remains alive, full of renewal! Sorry for a late reply, I also like to congratulate you for making this map. Also I'd to invite you to join our beta test if you like to. I also love the map you did and I wonder what the real place on earth is this? Is this mountain real or fictional? Maybe in future you can try more extreme terrain like icy mountain in Hohenswangau, Southern Bavaria. :) Or mountain also in Bavaria like near Neuschwanstein Castle mountain tho. Love the German landscape especially mountain cuz good for dogfight.
Also could you share those jet hud? I like to have them instead of vanilla jet and helicopter ui.
Hello Fast: I know quite well the reliefs of the Bavarian region of which you speak; every year, I go there to go to my vacation spot, in northern Italy; we have family there: if you ask me, well, yes: my maps are constructed from DEM altimetric data, which I find on a Gis portal in Trentino: by combining them with aerial photographs, we get what you see after few adjustments. If I manage to provide myself with DEM data on a German Gisportail, I will think of exploring this beautiful region around Neuschwanstein, not very different from mine; in the meantime, i still have some maps to finish, with a lot of work, as you can imagine: i'm only happy to meet "colleagues", like you, and to know that others than me are in similar explorations to this extraordinary game; concerning the modified HUDs for mouselook 0, I will see what I can do; there are only a few that are more or less suitable.
