I don't know how, but this game is actually not bad at all. The dialogue is actually really great and written better than most games these days. There are plently of genuinely laugh out loud funny parts. The only things that I really wasn't positive on was the fact that you have basically no settings in the game (it's a Wii port btw). You can just switch the resolution but only up to 720p not anything beyond that which sucks since the art style would look really cool with some AA and at 1080. Also all of the cool stuff in the trailer is really just in the first level of the game. After that things tone back quite a bit. It's not that it's boring, just that it seemed they built a crazy level for a trailer and then didn't bother with the intensity after that. Overall though very surprising game.

As a fan of games like VVVVV and Super Meat Boy, this looked interresting. It's ok, but the character movement was just a little too floaty for me. I got to the last checkpoint in the 4th (final) world and finally gave up. I may come back to it long enough to just finish those last few levels at some point, but it won't be for the enjoyment. It would just be so that I won't have a started but not finished game haunting me. I did like the soundtrack alot though and still have it on my Ipod actually. Like I said though, ok game, just too floaty for my liking.

Super short (maybe 15 minutes long) but totally worth the download! I haven't laughed out loud this hard at a video game ever I don't think.

Like many other reviewers have stated, this game starts off very strong. The opening leads you to believe that things are going to get super deep. If you're paying any attention at all you can quickly tell that the whole thing is in the characters head. It's quickly obvious for sure. The problem though is that they never really build on that at ALL unless you finish the hard mode playthrough (it unlocks after you finish normal mode). This meens to get the "true ending" you must play through twice. Personally this game would have been more like an 8 or so if the true ending was just the ending no matter what difficulty you play on. Even then the issue is still that there's just a strong opening, and then absolutely nothing really until the big info dump of an ending. Like others have said it really sucks to rag on others hard work but that's what reviews are for. Personally I'd say if you do play this, when the game is over just immediately youtube the "true ending" and count that as what you got lol.
