Old game, new problems

Burliminator Blog

Hey guys. So like I said in my last post, I found one of my old games and was planning on releasing it. After playing through it though, I noticed the gravity was off and there were some other details I wanted to work on. So I've been messing around with it, tweeking things here and there. I've got a pic to give you an idea of what the game is. Again, it was my very first game so I wasn't trying to reinvent the wheel.

Found My Old Game

Burliminator Blog

Going through my computer the other day I stumbled across an old game I developed quite a while ago, my first game to be exact. I had lost track of it so it was a pleasant surprise finding it again. The game is called Bloop's Adventure. I figured I'd play through it to jog my memory and release it here to breathe new life into it.

Been a while

I've been on a small haitus after releasing my last game, Zombageddon. I took a small gig contributing articles to a gaming site, so I haven't been fiddling around with my games recently. Its helping my writing, but when combined with all my schoolwork it's a lot of typing. I guess its not enough, however, cause here I am updating my blog.

Well my game is finally done so I'll be releasing it soon (for free of course) for any of you who wanna play it and kill some time blasting away little pixel zombies. Below is the trailer...

Zombageddon Video Update

Burliminator Blog

Well here's a little game play video of my game. It should give an idea of how the game plays as well as show off some items the player can collect as well as boss characters. The game is pretty much done and I'll be releasing it for free pretty soon for anyone who cares to play it.

Couple New Pics

Thought I'd show a couple more images of my game. Bellow are two new pictures, the first is just showing the title screen and again showing off the 8-bit, arcade style I'm kinda going for. The second is displaying the missions screen, basically they're just a couple of tasks you can try and complete while blowing away the horde of zombies.

Hey everyone, I'm new here and kinda new to the whole indie scene as well. I've always been a fan of indie games and I create my own 2d games as a hobby, so I thought I might show some images and details on the game I'm currently working on.

I'm a pretty slow developer seeing as how I work on my games in my spare time, college and all, so my most recent game has been in development since early july..ish. Basically, its a simple shooter game with an 8-bit theme. I'm not the best artist so I generally tailor my games artistic style to my ability, although in this case I think it works.

Anyway, here's a little preview of the game to give you an idea of what I'm working on:
