Hasn't been moving yet. Hopefully things will pick up soon. My desktop computer has been out of commission since close to the start of the summer (motherboard killed itself). My replacement is arriving on Tuesday.

In fact, it was in original design to randomize statue placement. But, as Hyouko said, the statues currently serve to make some camping areas less desirable for the Mortals.

Yes, that was in the initial design though we didn't have time to implement multiple statue types. (Oh, the joys of time constraints.)

It is on the "would be nice" list, so if we continue working on this after we have fulfilled our college's requirements, you may get to see some new ones. ;)

The semi-transparent statue is a new UI feature we added...
When you are a Watcher, the statue you are controlling is rendered in that way so that you can see beyond it more easily. To your opponents you are still as solid as a rock.

Winter break just ended so we're getting back into this.
Play testing will begin in the next two weeks. Probably just local tests first (at our college), and then we will open it up to some of you online folk.
We will be putting up a news post soon to give you guys an update on what's going on.

That may or may not be a coincidence. ;)

The original idea was inspired by the episode "Blink" of Doctor Who, written by Steven Moffat. We have taken that single concept and greatly expanded on it while taking it in a different direction from Doctor Who.

We consider this mod to be an original game, not a Doctor Who tribute.

Unfortunately, the digger is going to be the last feature we implement. It may even end up getting cut due to time restrains, though we are planning on working after our project is over to actually make this game really something (and add any features we didn't have time for).

So you should start looking forward to the Lunger instead! Woo Lunger!

Actually, the statues can teleport when they're not being looked at. We will soon be doing some playtesting to actually see who has the advantage (watchers or mortals).
