I am a amateur game designer who made alot of levels for varioes Valve games and mods and a developer of a bunch of wich the biggest one would be Insurgency. As well as my own mod Awakening.
Currently I am working on my own indie title.
Great to see people still enjoy the mod 3 years after its release :)

Achievements are planned but we need to port to the orange box engine firt.

I found the female voiceactor pretty good tough.
You have to go to the generator room and climb in the ventilation
I don't have the time to make any more updates, but I hope to make something bigger and better one day, maybe for Valve's next engine.
Thats misisng content, either something went wrong when you instaled the mod, or perhaps a corrupt download, but the problem is somewhere on your end and not a mod bug :)
Sounds like you didn't see the buggy in the container?
I moved it around already so people would see it when they come out of the duct in the garage room.
Nope that was not normal LordEinar, seems like a video bug to me.
Adding Nightvision and a replacement was outside the scope of my abbilities :(
You should have extracted it to the steam/steamapps/sourcemods folder,
you need steam (and steamsdk-base) to play.
(the 1.1 installer should detect the right folder)
I asked the PlanetHalfLife newsposter who contacted me with a link to fileplanet my first release but no response yet,
I don't find a way to contact fileplanet, and their submission page requires to upload the mod but I already could not upload my 56mb mappack because of timeouts :-/
Lol well it seems some players are able to play the first release on hard, I only tested on normal figuring 90% would go for easy anyway but I was wrong and had trouble myself on hard when I checked it out :-)
Btw Chunky is a MODDB guy who aproved the newpost I asume the fixes list was to big to put in the newspost that it got added as a comment :)

Well not from a legal point of view anyway because I asked Valve, but there are mods what use it anyway.
Actually I just let the 2d artist reskin the hev suit hands,
to remodel the hands I need knowledge of animating a models,
something I don't know (yet)
The orriginal storyline for the mod? nope, I only said the first level was in a black mesa like base, but some news sites reported it as a mod in black mesa.
In fact the orriginal idea I had was a antartic base, but it was a bit diffucult adding more levels to that :-)
Killing 3 out of 4 elite soldiers on the higher level in the portalroom triggered the portal to shut down.
One of the lasts things I added to spice it up (the extra soldiers) maybe it was a bad idead then :)
The super gravity gun was supposed to be earlyer in the level, but the level always crashed, so I moved it to a different location so I would not loose the work, altough its indeed pointless.
(it was also a bit to easy with the supergravgun) But it turns out its not the sole reason for the last map crashing, for some reason, the game still crashes alot when you enter the first cave for the second time :(
No new weapons/ npc's, thats a bit out of my league :)
Code (or animations for that matter) is a bit out of my league.
Originally there would be a level after the submarine base level where you delivered the garvgun to kleiner, then get attacked by combine soldiers trough a portal and in order to protect Kleiner you had to go trough. You would die, the G-man would appear mumbling something about a second chance and give you the supergravgun. But all that was a bit out of my league or would drag the development for alot longer, so I shoose to mention 'rebuild it' at the lab during the intro.
Also you don't destory a citadell, but release the antlions on the world, so Awakening could point to Shapard, as well as to the antlions :)
Story could probebly have been a bit better still :-)

This weekand or next week, I had to replace CSS content to stay legal, and the texture guy got a baby son :)
I'm happy with how it looks now just need to compile all maps and get it uploaded :-)
hmm lets see if I can reskin that a bit.

haha yeah things never go as you like em.
I am laying the last hand on the leveldesign right now.
There are some other things I have to deal with and I hope Valve can help a bit.
But I'm not going to wait to long for that and given any inforseen circumstances I hope to release end april.
Meanwhile I expanded last level a whole lot. (it was just one big cave so all the other stuff you will see is what I did meanwhile).

Hehe Yeah I keep missing my dates lol,
I have to fix some small things on the first 5 maps and finish the last map.
I can really see the end now, but it really depends on how tired I am when I come back from work.
The supreme commander beta didn't help much either :-P

The august sdk update introduced some nasty bugs I'm waiting for them to hopefully fix it.
(when something is parented to a func_door_rotating it now acts comepletely strange,
and the buggy has no gun anymore)
It also demotivated me a bit to work much on it.
With some luck I get a beta together this month and a release as soon as the nasty bugs are gone after that.
I hope in the next 2 months,
the last level is alot more work then I anticipated and the contributers are still doing their stuff :-)
Some prop models but thats it.
Installing worked for me on D drive.
Some small issues like the double doors that only open one half made me stuck because i tried to open the wrong half and concluded they were closed :)
