The client comes from steam is what I meant to say. But at release you will be able to pay through steam also.

Its already on steam, well.. thats where you download it. But yes, the launch will also happen on steam.

Yeah was made in-engine. They also ship the cinematic editor with the game so you can actually make them yourself. Very cool.

Looks like you can pre-order here. Might buy a copy myself. Indie devs this good deserve all the support they can get.
