i think the wrinkle lines below the cheeks are too wide, thats my guess
nice work, a bit flat looking though, try tweak the lighting
its been a long time but good to see u guys are back
sketch ups great for architecture but i find interiors problematic
real proffessional standard, even better than the game industry
we need more great ideas like that in games these days
that really redefines the cryengine for me
progress looks promising, its pretty ambitious, the characters will need a lot of flowgraph work, and im guessing there will be custom weapons, character models etc, but if you guys can keep it up it could be a really impressive project.
wats the obsession with realism? go outside if you want realistic
i guess the next thing is to think about where the the lights coming from, Chandeliers? maybe even spotlights for artworks. lighting makes a whole lot of difference eg, creates sense of space and depth, point of interest/importance etc.
the fingers really do look too short from all the images, the poly count doesn't have to be so high either. its a good start though.
good texture work will make it appear smoother
there's nothing wrong with it. it just looks flat because of the rendering
i really enjoyed the mod. im workin on Fingo-game.blogspot.com alone as well, so respect to anyone doin a one man job.
Would one of your influences be 'city of lost chilren', in case people havn't heard of it, it's what Bioshock was inspired by.

I come from an art background, focusing mainly on video art, 2D animation, illustration and mural art. However, growing up with games like Zelda and Goldeneye, iv'e had an ongowing interest in 3d modeling and gaming. so if you any need advice on the cinematic/theatrical or aesthetic side of modding i'd be happy to help :)
