Ahh, we have just switched to Unity recently as well. We remade our game from scratch (except the art part) and redo the entire thing in Unity Engine.
Previously we were using cocos2d-x (our game is for iOS) but it's very hard to manage the memory manually which made our game crashes very frequently on iPhones. Unity handles all that by itself so I don't need to care anything about it. And we are using ex2D plugin, the same plugin used by The Other Brothers.
