Not sure, depends if they get in. Tau will be in the next big release too. Should be Tau+Guard with the Eldar as a possible cameo race. They may get an infantry map with no vehicles, but grav tanks and such are unlikely at this point. Guard will get the majority of vehicles next time, with hopefully basilisks, thunderbolts, vultures, chimeras, hellhounds, heck, even the mighty baneblade at their disposal!

Not sure what the cybot is!

Eldar+Guard are possible, depending on if we get someone who can rig/skin (not texture, skin, like in max!) player models.

You can register at our forums (or get the mod as a guest) and get the mod right now, but the download will probably be slow.

There aren't any air vehicles in this release, but you can play as a multitude of vehicles, such as the Razorback, Rhino, Land Raider, Predator, Defiler, Bike, and more. Plenty of weapons+maps to choose from as well!

Imperial Guard are not included in this release, and are planned for the next one. This one has Space Marines and Chaos.

Heh, check the day of the week, mate! You've got one more to go until the mod comes out. That is why you're crashing.

The version you have is old, and has few of the new version's features, such as AI in Berlin(a), or any of the other new maps. Check back in a few hours, the REAL mod should be out then :D

The first version of the mod you're trying to download isn't something we made, it's something the guys at www.battlefield40k.com did. You'd be best off asking there for support. As for the german version of bf1942... that really shouldn't be a problem. I've never seen language-dependent versions of mods, as if they made any real changes, they wouldn't work with the other language ones. So that shouldn't be the issue. The only thing I can think of is that their installer is looking for something in bf1942 that only exists in the english version, and cannot find it in the german one. Therefore, it doesn't see BF1942, and doesn't install the mod. That's a long shot though.

As long as bf1942 is installed in the default directory, it should be fine, and you should be able to repoint the installation if it isn't.

THIS mod isn't downloadable yet. It's basically the new version of the old one. New army, new vehicles, new weapons, new maps. You'll have to wait for October 13th for it.

You won't need broadband for long, although we've had some nice offers to put this mod up on some great servers! When it redeploys to battlefield 1942 for it's second tour of duty OCTOBER 13 2006 it will have AI support! You'll be able to duke it out with singleplayer, sadly not with either of your two armies. It could be possible that you'd fight on a Necron world, or as Imperial Guard in the future, but this release only looks at Space Marines and Chaos Space Marines.
