So this appears only with kursk mod enabled. I searched with google and that seems a (not correct) installation issue, but i'm not sure.
Do you mean Kursk mod by Rollonleviking ? Do you mean you can't load it in editor ?

ok crash is in AS1 checked. The map.ply from AS2 is incompatible with AS1. Change the map.ply file with the older version one (grazie guido). I will add the previuos file in a new update version. Sorry for the inconvenience.
i will check the problem. Probably a map.ply incompatibility between AS and AS2

There's a strange effect with german and russian fieldcaps. They are too small for new models heads.

take off haze when you modify the mission and after switch it on.
It doesn't matter i solved the foggy problem. It's linked to "haze" in mission properties.

About #dlg_ingame.lng... there are lists of names: russian , american ,japanese names and surnames. Take a nation list ( russian american or whatever you prefer copy and past it after all names\surnames so you will have for example 2 Rus lists identical. in one clean word Rus and write Viet ( for vietnamese)
Razzor now i'm asking you :) how did you solve the game mission foggy problem? I have this prob with main game missions and i haven't it with new one.
Ok extract file luma.fx from AS gamelogic.pack (it's in \resource\shader\postprocess\ create the same directory in vietnam and put the extracted file there. If after that it says something about phrase error take #dlg_ingame.lng file open with notepad you will see many ("phrase_voice" args %0 * 1 %1) where * means usa, rus, jap etc add 2 lines with viet in that place.
sorry I didn't say that you have to extract #dlg_ingame.lng from the AS localization.pak. The vietnam one in encrypted so you can't "see" it without decrypt it.
Another modification i forgot : in the talk.set file add these 2 lines
("phrase_voice" args %0 viet 1 %1)
("phrase_voice" args %0 viet 2 %1)
Error: i extracted construction files from e2.pak (not e1.pak)
I put Assault squad editor + AS localization.pak (previusly renamed vietnam one localization2.pak)+ steam_api.dll(dunno why) in movv main dir. Then AS talk.set in resource\set\ . Extracted from file e1.pak construction files in resource\entity\construction\ , then i renamed file e1.pak to ee1.pak. Modified all files wood_spark.mtl, roof_spark.mtl , wall_spark.mtl in resource\entity\construction\vietnam\ [open them with notepad and delete the line ( emission )]. Last i extracted the file #dlg_ingame.lng from the as localization.pak in the movv localization directory. Open it with notepad , duplicate lines with all Russian names and rename one "RUS" with "VIET".
Ok now with the Assault squad editor i can create the map with all kind of buildings . I have still problem with helicopters and mission creation.
Vietnam Constructions are incompatible with editor : There's a string "emission" that creats problem. Did you clean that string or modify it?
How can i destroy the 2 howitzers? I tried with dynamite , tanks , at grenades but they are indistructible
