CryEngine's got some nice shaders and all, but Source is modular, optimized, and it still looks good

This is kind of diffucult to answer. Usually current means in the middle east somewhere, which is overused, but I don't like sci-fi weapons as much as current hardware. Post-apoc has gotten way too much exposure lately, and I'm not a huge fan of historic. I went with current, but if I could vote twice I'd say Sci-Fi as well

Now that I've tried Desura I actually like it, it's convinient for updates and such. I also like how the mod is coming along, the updates do nothing but improve it.

I only buy games I know are good, things like VALVe games. I wasted $60 on Modern Warfare 2 and I will never make the mistake of buying a game without reading a good review again.
