So, where are we at today?
Well, yesterday we finished the design of the main menu and it is being crafted on unity as I write this from the comfort of a library. Would be cooler if I was in our office, but we gotta be patient!
So, the menu is being crafted, what does that mean? Well first of it is clear that this was not our priority. Better have a working test version without an UI than no game at all, but now that the game is getting together... well it's time to craft everything around it.
Also, I can't wait to show you guys how it will be. Even if it's a simple menu... I'm glad of how cool it looks hahaha!
What's next?
- Crafting every other menu: The fleet crafting interface will probably be the hardest, but it's hard to tell in advance.
- Then we'll need to fully schematize the ingame UI. We have plans has of how it will all turn out, but we need to put them together with care.
- After that, we'll put the UI into motion either within Unity (that would be our favorite choice) or with Adobe Premier if we must. We'll engineer it into our kickstarter video and maybe post a gift or two for your guys ;)
After that, well... there's just a whole heck of steps to go. But we are moving at a pretty good pace!
