Much appreciated Marth, i don't think i can thank you guys enough for the effort you've put in this mod. This really feels like a Mass Effect game in its own right, you did a great job.
I have a Radeon X800 GTO and Windows XP SP2. It's an old machine i use for old games like Battlefront. It has the latest drivers, and i never had a similar problem on Battlefront. Only in some modded maps the ground would look black in very rare occasions, and reloading the map fixed that issue but i tried reloading the maps and the collector ship it's still missing. Also i can't launch the Config Tool, it says there's been an exception, but that's probably my old Windows XP. EDIT: i played Coruscant with the Collectors, and the Collector Ship there looks just fine. Is there a difference between the background ship in Coruscant and the others?
There it is, but i still have a non existent collector ship. Maybe is it something to do with my graphic card? the background buildings in Earth Pioneer Trails are the same, and the beam from the collector beam weapon is black sometimes.
Can someone help me please?! i installed the mod and in every map where i play with the collectors where the Collector Ship should be there's only a big, black, squared void. Is it some file missing? Btw, i love what you made with the mod, especially on the Tantive 4.
THIS IS HANDS DOWN ONE OF THE BEST MAPS IVE SEEN FOR BATTLEFRONT 2!!! the combat is so intense!!!
Been playing the mod, it's very good, but it lags a lot. Anybody knows a way to fix this? Or is there a way to turn off the new laser effects? i had the previous version and it ran perfectly but i noticed that if i play a mod that adds custom effects the game lags a lot :/
Can someone help me please? i installed the mod and in every menu the textures are all messed up i just get random textures over everything! i mean the main menu, the galactic conquest, the interface everything is showing a mess of the standard game textures!
Ok after a quick run through knee-deep in the dead, this my opinion of the new version:
-I like the new sprites of the rifle
-Auto one-liners? Hell yeahh!!! Doomguy is knee-deep in the dead and he knows it haha
-The new shotgun sound is awesome man it feels very real
-The ragdoll effect is so cool i just blew a zombie out of a window haha
-The new kick is awesome i really love that one!
-i like how the marines follow you trough levels
-I havent seen the new death of the cyberdemon but i look forward to it when i reach the tower of babel hehehe
Now some minor bugs regarding the marines:
-You should tone down the marines speech they talk too often and some times their dialog about giving you ammo and some other happen at the same, its a little odd.
-I REALLY think is a bad idea to have the rocket launcher as a weapon for the marines. This guy i rescued kept randomly blowing demons to hell and blowing me to hell! Specially in close quarters. Luckily one of those times he did hurt me he gave a medpack to heal myself :)
Overall i think this the best version you've made so many new features and almost non-existent bugs this one is close to perfection man!!!

hey man i think that is the best and more detailed hud I've seen in a game in my entire life! its awesome!!! having said that, i wanted to let you know i found a little bug, you fixed the audio bombardment the AI voice makes in the standard visor, but if you play with quaker's sub mod and load the correspondent addin it will still make the audio mess at the beginning. Nothing game breaking, but if you could fix it i'll be very grateful :)

Dude, i gotta say i love your hud, i give it a 10 outta 10. But i need to ask you a favour, can you tell me how to make it compatible with vanilla Doom? when played with normal doom the ammo counter shows nothing, i know how to edit sbarinfo but i dont get how to do it! please, i play Doom with my nephew, but he is too young to play Brutal Doom.

Dude, I really love everything you have put into this mod, i mean, the things you yourself made for this, you added a lot of things. I been playing the V5 test and i like a lot what you did with the enemies, buy i have a few suggestions for the weapons. There are too many weapons, that play similar, but that can be easily fixed by giving an specific role for each weapon. I want to give you some ideas, feel free to use or discard them:
1. the pistol should be automatic but only acurate at close range. That will give it a good use as a backup weapon, and would make the dual pistold wicked at close range, like an SMG.
2.The revolver is good as it is, is a heavy pistol but im not sure the ricochet bullets work.
3. the rifle should have more kickback and faster rate, kind of like the Spec ops rifle at the moment. that would fullfill the role of a medium range auto weapon. The scope maybe should be removed. I mean like using the original sprites.
4. the spec ops rifle should have a smaller clip, more damage, pinpoint acuracy, little recoil and be semi-auto. That would make it a precise long range high power rifle, something like a marksman rifle, also it would make sense since spec ops troops are supposed to be more acurate and would make the scope unique.
Dude i think the white squares from the freezer are something to do with the configuration i changed the fog settings to show particles only and voilà! fixed!
Hey i got to say i love your mod, i thought of making something similar but never got to do it... i been testing it and found some bugs:
1. the secondary attack of the chainsaw seems to have a missing sound, i remember it makes some swissssh when you attack.
2. the shotgun seems to have some sprites of the Quaker540 one, when you select the weapon, reload it, or look down the sight, you can see some of the them popping in a few frames. You should replace them with new ones or delete the extra sprites.
3. The "freezer" explosion shows some random white squares!
4. im not sure if this is a mistake or is on purpose, but the second plasma rifle shouldn't be automatic? i have to pull the trigger for each shot.
All in all, this is a very promising mod that just needs a bit of polish to take brutal doom to a whole new level! You're adding things of some of the best mods out there to complete the already awesome brutal doom!
Also i made some compilation of hd version of the skies and menu screens of the original doom (the old ones look very lazy and i couldnt find any pack of replacements) i offer them to you if you want them, just credit the authors.
Dude, i love the new chain gun!!! this version is almost perfect, just found one bug, the blood splatters cause damage to you for some reason
Dude, i was here to report a few bugs but it seems they only appear if you use the nosmoke mutator, i removed it and voila! no bugs so far. I like how you added a mutator to have the v19 plasma rifle and the tweaks to the secondary fire, a like it a LOT more now, i think it gives some variety. by the way, i was checking what HUDs i could use alternatively to the one you provided and i came with a little one based on the wildweasel visor but without the respirator and visor parts, i think they obscure visibility and look odd in the fatalities. I mean it just haves the ammo counter and life indicator, kinda looks like doom 3 HUD, i can give it if you want it. Keep up the good work!!!
What you mean fixed in V7c? then shouldnt be fixed already or did you mean V8c?
Dude, everything works fine, but i found 2 minor bugs. If you kill the cyberdemon when he explodes, all of his guts are brains. I know he has huge guts but... hahaha ok bad joke. Second, if you get a berserker pack and use a meatshield, when you fire the rifle on full auto the sprite changes back to the normal rifle sprite, but you still have the meatshield.
Finally i wanted an alternative to standard all metal soundtrack that comes with brutal doom. As a suggestion, have you ever heard the Dark Side of Phobos remixes? you may want to try and add some to your compilation

Dude, i don't know what you did but whatever happened with the marine doesn't happen in the last version :) i just found a minor bug, if you get blown up by a barrel (yeah, im an idiot avoiding barrels) the explosive death where you get torn apart has the leg spinning around in the ground for some reason. it looks odd. Also, good work with the voxels!!! they look amazing! And i have one suggestion, when the sarges wield the shotgun the pump is brown, and the model item with the voxel is also brown, so i think the sprite should also have the pump brown, what do you think? Like i said, it's only an idea
Man, this has to be the better addition to brutal doom i've played, i been looking for something like this a long time! I'm downloading the new version now, however i wanted to ask a few things. Did you increased the damage of the enemys? Last time i played the start of doom 2 and a few zombi men dropped me to half health in a few shots. Second, i don't know how or why, but i freed a marine and was fighting a few imps and he tossed a grenade, he was to my left and to my right was a barrel, i was in 200 health and 200 armor, and the grenade exploded JUST AS HE TOSSED it and blew the barrel and killed me!!! i think you should check the damage of the marine's grenades or the barrels because seriously what the ****? not even the Cyberdemon can kill you in one hit!!!!
