Not much to say, just a TAFE student doing a Certificate in IT Networking, as far as mods are concerned, i suck, about all i can do is mod other peoples mods, although i could probly learn, i haven't really foudnb a game i'd like modding.

I've just been playing through the latest revision and i love it! Adds a lot more realism and hardcore action to the game! However i am curois, with missions that have certain areas where buildings have been build and then destroyed by the AI, is it possible to set up a "forward position" trigger or plan? This would make it more dificult to defeat an AI as they move closer to your base. or vice versa when an allied AI moves forward. Just a thought?

Ahh I see, thanks for getting back t me. The skirmish AI can be a little lacking is all, I've found they don't group units well.

As much as i respect and admire the creativity of this project and would love to sign, I honestly don't think it will make a difference, Warner Brothers will never allow a bunch of modders to do something like this would could potentially affect theur profits for future LOTR games, even if you had 50 million people sign they just ignore it. Not to mention if you do get them to agree, Bethesda may issue a cease and disist in their place to prevent people from getting the wrong idea about Skyrim and enable them to push more of their own content through DLCs.

This game looks awesome, i've been looking for something similar to Distant Worlds with some 3D content.

I know you mentioned it was a "Real Time" strategy game but that term seems to be a very loosly used these days. Is the game really in real time or is it turn based in way?

This is an excellent idea guys! So much work done and the engine performs very well, i've noticed a smll glitch though. Occasionally my character will continue to walk in an non-specific direction without my input? Perhaps it just me.

That'd be a pretty cool feature but i don't think the developer will implement that. If you want that sort of direct control it's probably better to stick to minecraft and terraria, this game seems to aim more at the "Majesty" style of game play. I do agree about the food issue though, it's really a pain having to spend all your time constantly producing food.

Version 1.600 came out a couple of days ago and I thought I might post it up.

Mostly bug fixes and base modifications, as can be seen on Spacepiratesandzombies.com.

The most notable feature that was added is the free modding tools being released, try your hand at making ships and weapons for good old SPAZ as provided on the SPAZ homepage.

Hmm, makes the slopes look a little more realistic, though i'd keep it only as a concept, to me, the slopes look like they should be on a snow map? Perhaps you could change the colour scheme a little bit to make it match the dusty surrounds?
