They look pretty much the same, with a few slight improvements.
There's a nice game on steam that teaches you a lot about guns. It's called World of Guns: Gun Disassembly, that has hardware both from the world wars and from current time.
You might find it interesting.

So what games are you into lately? I'm supposing you got quite a lot due to your new pc
Download the gamedata folder again and see if you can run the game without modifying anything.
If it works, then you probably edited something in a wrong way. Check your code.
If you have Lost Alpha installed, then you should already have a gamedata folder.
