Can’t keep this up forever. I’m more of a wolf modder anyway. Feel free to pick up where I left off

You can use lzwolf on Linux but you must compile it yourself. There is a tutorial for compiling ecwolf on Linux, just follow the directions and replace the repositories with lzwolf’s bitbucket url.
For the most part this uses the original map defs so really you could just use that and add the necessary extra tiles that I added. Most of the work is in the xlat/decorate/mapinfo for this mod. Make a map as you normally would, and open this pk3 to check out the mapinfo to see what you need to do for each map
Yes, lzwolf is required, along with the full version of Wolf3D.
Changed developer pages, due to some reshuffling of my Wolf3D mods. Carry on as usual, this is most likely not being updated anymore.
As of yet there is no deadline. We will set one after we get a decent amount of submissions. Map away bro.
i'm finding this is a weird bug - i just got around to trying to solve this, and i am finding that Hans is sometimes spawning and sometimes not, and I am not at all sure why. Will look into it.
Blzut3 recently added support for the actual wolfstone data files, and made a converter to rip those files from those games. I think there’s a download on the main ecwolf website.
Don’t know what happened but there seems to be an error with one of the decorate actors. I’ll see if I can get ahold of orka and if I can’t I’ll see about a fix
I mean it’s pretty much the snes and Mac version. Honestly you could just replace all the sprites and textures in my snes port with the jag counterparts and change the music and it would be pretty much it.
Sorry it took a while, but this bug is now fixed. I ended up modifying the original SNES maps ripped directly from the rom and writing a new XLAT based off of MacWolf to go along with it. I also made the death knight drop a gold key instead so now this should be completely playable. There is also a map resource pack designed for use with SLADE and WDC, if you are interested in making SNES themed ecwolf mods.
You must be using the official version rather than the dev version. All of my mods require the latest dev version of ECWolf due to using various features that aren’t in the main release. You can find it at Devbuilds.drdteam.org
Negative. The hud head has been replaced with inventory items. It reappears on the auto map. This is a stock zdoom feature, I left the status bar unmodified
You are using the official version of ecwolf. You need the latest development version, as this relies on features from the Mac version of wolfenstein. It can be found at Devbuilds.drdteam.org
Not sure. Works for me fine. Make sure your command line reads ecwolf.exe —file astrostein_spiff_HD.pk3. If you are having trouble with the command line or drag and drop, you could use a Doom launcher such as zdl but you will need to make a “fake iwad” to do that.
Maybe. Carmageddon’s sprites don’t have enough frames for my liking. Would be worth checking out tho
I would like to but I don't have many more sprites in that style. Maybe in a future update. Gonna take lots of work.
Thanks for the tramp thing. Unfortunately I had to disable collision again because they were spawning invisible solid spots randomly. Can’t figure out why. It’s really weird because I made all the spawners have the -solid flag
Possibly. It’s a small cosmetic thing caused by the dehacked actor replacements from the original mod. Prob just need to make some alternate ammotypes. I’m not gonna lie that’s real low on my list of things to fix
That’s a bug concerning the dehacked left over from the original mod. Rockets and small cell packs were modified to be decorative sprites and when this mod was made in 1995 that hud didn’t exist. I’m not sure how to mess with hud definitions really but the weapons could be replaced with alternate versions.
On the contrary there are a few new textures I just utilized mostly old ones on the maps. Look above the doorway of the warehouse on map17 for an example, or the stained glass windows. Map select is a good idea I may utilize that in a future update
It may help to use a launcher such as ZDL.
The command line should look like this
gzdoom.exe -file zombies-eee-v2.pk3 zombies-iotld.wad zombies-ogg.pk3
Laziness lmao. That mod is so integrated with the dehacked that it would completely need overhauled and I wasn’t willing to do that lol. It’s really quite amazing what they were able to pull off for a mod from 1995. This mod started out as simple decorate replacements for actors and kind of just grew.
Ah yeah I forgot about that. I believe slade can convert those. If not, there’s an old dos program called mus2midi
Are you trying to play them outside of the game? Midi files are pretty old and your media player might not have the right drivers to just play them out of the box. Try looking for a midi player.
