You will know the power of the Dark Side!
Weirdly balanced, chaotic (which i guess is the point, but it doesn't make it better), and very rarely, glitchy. Its a good start of a mod, but its not the greatest. the UGC maps hyperspace lanes are as annoying as ever, making it where you can go to almost every planet from wherever your fleet is, even if its on the other side of the galaxy.
However this is a great improvement on the old ACM in graphics, maps, units, and more. I can't wait for this mod to progress, just hope it progresses in the right way.
So i'm going to give a new review on this mod:
The models in this mod are beautiful! And the effects too! Also, love the amount of unique units. Also this mod is, at times, really fun. When I was playing as the Rebels on easy mode, I felt like I was still out matched, but by using strategy, I soon took Coruscant and other important Imperial planets.
I did this by using the most OP ships that just spammed thousands of fighter and wrecked everything. And once I basically became the New Republic, It was insane ill hard to defend planets because of just how many fighter they through that you. You may be wondering: why not just make some more OP ships? And you would be right, but I dont have any more Command Points. So I can go take some planets with my OP ships, but then there OP ships attacking me, making a endless struggle.
Also, There are LOT of unbalances in this mod. The MC80 and Home One aren't even modified like the ISD's making them so freaking useless! Rebel fighters aren't anything special like in other mods like AoTR or ECM or ICW, making them all most as bad as Imperial fighters!
The minute I took Coruscant and other important planets, I knew why I won Coruscant in the first place: Because the AI was struggling with defending and its command points and it was on easy mode.
I can go on and on about other problems, but I want this one to be as short as possible.
This mod has lots of potential, but it has yet to fulfill that potential.
Also, I would like to apologize to the mod creator. The mod can be very frustrating at times and its annoying when I see people having problems with something and the creator isn't saying anything. And maybe you did, but the readme file should have told us what to do if it wasn't working. I do think you should start working on balance and not new units. that's the last thing it needs.
I love this mod! It feels like it was always in the game. I only have a few problems. The Resistance model look kinda weird and First Order are a bit OP. Other than that, great mod!
This is a review for 2.7
2.7 is obviously an alpha, but is still a huge improvement to 2.6. New heroes, better graphics and more. The graphics are a little inconsistent because not all the models have been updated. There is some crashing as well, and the resource problem is worse than 2.6.
However, 2.7 is much easier, and the AI no longer cheats (at least that's what it feels like). So now, you will no longer get attack by massive fleets all the time, but just a few times.
There is one thing however that really ****** me off about 2.7. The Black Sun are annoying as heck! I just want to fight the Empire man! The Black Sun are literally just the Rebellion but a little different. And some how, they are destroying the Empire and ruining my campaign! Hopefully there will be a Empire v Rebel campaign in the full release.
Anyways, good mod, I still love Thrawn's Revenge and its my favorite mod, but Awakening of the Rebellion is definitely my second favorite mod.

Thrawn's Revenge: Imperial Civil War has always been one of my favorite mods because of the balance and the simple but great graphics it has, unlike EAWRE that over does it. The amount of units is also great and it feels like every unit has a purpose. For example, when teching up, you will get something better than the previous tech ship, so it removes the older ship. Another thing I love about this mod are the GC maps. They are a huge improvement over the 2.1.5 maps.
Probably my favorite thing about this mod is that you can capture ships with the GR-75. I've played a lot of FOC mods. I have 238 hour on them all. I have NEVER seen such a cool feature before!
There are some annoyances that I wouldn't even call problems, but there are some weird gitches. One of those annoyances are in the All Era map for the Republic. Because the New Republic starts with a small amount of planets, they don't have many credits. So it makes it really hard. But its nothing that really needs to be fix, it just makes it a bit more stressful.
Anyways, this is without of shadow of a doubt, the best mod in the FOC community. At least until the AoTR update comes out, and I still don't think it will be better that TR: ICW.
I looking forward to playing Fall of the Republic.

Holy crap. This is....really good! When I downloaded this I thought it would suck but its great! The ships models like awesome, and I love the effects and sounds! This could use some work like fixing bugs and making some models look better together. 9/10
I love this mod. There is nothing wrong with it but the sadness of no selecting my unit because of a stupid glitch.
EDIT: Found a way to fix that glitch.
Other modders out there want to make a Star Wars FOC mod that adds so many units and new changes, but they usual or do it by adding 50 hardpoints or something and don't take the time to balance the units. BUT THIS MOD..... IT ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. It's so simple, but it's still a good mod that's balanced and adds so many new units in a clever way! It feels like this is an official expansion to the game! And I can't believe this isn't a more famous mod!
I give this mod a 7/10 and not a 10/10 for three reasons:
EMPIRE AI NOT WORKING
I don't know if this is my problem or the mods but the Empire AI doesn't work. Its like the AI doesn't know how to play as the Empire.
TOO MANY UNITS
WAYYY TO MANY! I don't now what is weaker against another ships or strong against it and I don't know what kind of ship to make when there are HUNDREDS.
GALACTIC CONQUEST IS TRASH
TOO MANY UNITS, PLANETS DON'T DIFFERENT FACTORIES OR SHIPS, AND TOO EASY. enough said.
Other than that I like that the Rebels can only really win with there fights and the Empire wins with there larger ships.
P.S: Death Star is just crazy.
This mod is pretty good. Its a mod for hardcore players, (not me, but I learned) It can be fun and easy once you learn how to play it. I don't like how the mod keeps changing though. And the Mordor faction is pretty hard to play as. But I think this is a good mod, and it look glorious!
